I don't think they have to justify the lack of Jump for a week by any means, but it's been this way for as long as I can remember so it shouldn't be taken as a surprise or that Shueisha is screwing us over in any way. Usually at the end of the year, there will be a double issue right before Christmas, then nothing until the new year, then one more double issue and its subsequent break. There are definitely a lot of breaks during the year though, and those are at the author's discretion, not Shueisha's. | ||
