That was a pretty good read, it got me super hyped. I totally forgot about Cobra's whole deal with the Poneglyphs too, it'll be fun to see that brought up. Still think that Wano will come next or at least happen simultaneously to Reveire, seeing as how Oda said the arc will start either this year or 2019 and I doubt that Reverie will be resolved in a year or less.

What are people expecting from Reverie anyway? I can't see it be a whole arc. None of the SH crew are present there, which would make it extremely odd for Oda to have weeks or months of Reverie. I can't remember even one instance of him not focusing on the SHs for the amount of time an entire arc would take up. So either it happens later and has them present, or the "arc" is just a couple chapters driving the plot forward before we transition to Wano.

yeah im interested in what we would find out during reverie but i dont understand why people are referring to it as an "arc". theres no way reverie will take even half as many chapters as dressrosa or wci took. with wano lined up already reverie has to be fairly short

because it's golden week and it's jump being on break
and as always when jump is on break, the next release is most of the time a bit earlier (sometimes to the point that the break seems to be the week after)

I think the assumption is that Reverie could turn out to be another Marineford. Or it could just be the prelude to another war. Either way, I think someone is going to crash the party / attack Mariejois.

What would be lame is if Reverie lasts 5 chapters and nothing happens. Or if there is some skirmish and then everyone just leaves.

How could Reverie be another Marineford? Simple. Set it after Wano or during the latter half of Wano. If you recall, Marineford actually started halfway through Impel down. And the set up for Marineford (everybody ariving at HQ) was going on during the Amazon Lily arc.

You could do it like Wano starts -> Reverie starts -> Rift forms between attending countries -> Mariejois attacked by Revolutionaries/Blackbeard/Civil war -> Wano ends -> Mariejois burned to the ground -> Straw Hats join war.
