So if the mermaid princess is poseidon/Shirashoshi, what will pluton be? It can't be just a artifact imo What about luffy talking with the sea monsters and "hearing" all things just like roger used to? So we know he is has the will of "D", has "hashoku" haki, hears the voice of all things(new power or discovering it), has a adam wood boat(like roger) and wants to be the king of pirates like roger... Plus is has the backing of skypea, fishman island, Alabasta, red head pirates, whitebeard pirates and other smaller groups. He clearly is one of the main forces of One piece world imo | ||

Why do you think jimbei wouldn't fit in? I think they would benefit from a more serious and wiser fighter instead of another fight first think later kind of fighter, and of course a fishman is unrivaled under water, that would also benefit their devil fruit users. | ||

Also thinking about Pluto it must have been like a nuclear submarine if it could take out multiple Sea Kings. That thing would be nuts. Lastly we now "know" that the will of D is Joy Boy promise to fishman island and it has something to do with Noah. That's why Roger the old PK couldn't complete the will of D since "Poseidon" wasn't born yet even though he could hear the Sea Kings, but didn't know it maybe. Still a bit more work on the last theorycrafting part. | ||

I'm pretty sure that Pluton and Poseidon weren't meant to counter each other. The talk about "there are 2 of them so one can counter the other" only applied to Pluton itself. There are probably even more ancient weapons than those two. Anyway, in Water 7, Franky had the blueprints to make Pluton. However, the original Pluton is still hidden in Alabasta somewhere. Thats what Crocodile's entire purpose was in that country, to get Robin to read the Poneglyph and find its location. Except she lied to Crocodile about the location, and then he had his showdown with Luffy. ANYWAY, the blueprints that Franky had existed in case someone else found that original Pluton in Alabasta, to build a new one to counter it. So it was supposed to be a Pluton vs Pluton type thing, rather than Pluton vs Poseidon. | ||

So what is the information that would cause civil war essentially. As i assume that is the only way a world government would be over thrown is from civil war ie public sees info, and reacts to overthrow government. Else i can't see why it would be so game changing that they need to suppress the information from the void century. | ||
