500 million Don Chinjao being called a legend, it speak for itself. Ace also had 500 million bounty, who is another legendary pirate.

A very wounded and weak Ace though. But yes, what do you mean there are no strong Pirate Hunters? It's weird that we don't see them at all but people like Aokiji could bounty hunt in his free time, ezpz.

also very weird that none of the supernovas died. Logically about 50% of them should be completely wiped out yet super weak people like apoo etc are still alive

between the 4 emporerers and the navy not being affiliated with anyone is a very risky proposition, groups means safety

If you're powerful enough to catch someone with a 300M bounty, chances are you don't care about money.

pretty sure ace just started fighting when he was released and nobody had haki to harm him. I don't think ace was ever a match to akainu literally all whitbeard pirates + some shichibukai's at one point of the war was trying to stop akainu from blowing up luffy but none of them really bothered him.
Maybe some of the marines was formerly piratehunters that got invited by the marines and turned into vice-admirals or admirals later on ?

well before they could have been murdered by kizaru alone but now maybe it's still the same but in a long drawn out fight rather than 1 shot them ina few seconds
i don't think they are that weak especially if they group up together with the other supernovas

Let's be real, all the supernovas probably got stupidly large power spikes like Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hats did.
Meanwhile, the marines have by and large just been dicking around or something.

Thats not how I see it. There is almost always a balance. I don't have much to actually base this on, but I feel like the Marines as an organization have been pretty stable, power wise, since their creation. New faces like Smoker or Fujitora (who, while old, is new to the Marines), and old faces like Aokiji and Sengoku leave. Meanwhile, with Pirates, they have been getting a power creep, but I also imagine that is more because of the current Age. New powerful pirates are rising up faster than older Pirates are fading away. In theory the Shichibukai institution should capitalize on that, but what with Pirate's loyalty and all, its backfired on them instead.

Yea, dat turnover rate with the Shichibukai lol. I would expect the other Vice-Admirals also got some power creep as well to keep up (plus isn't there a to be revealed admiral?) and the other two are still top teir.
