Franky is apparently doing the fusion dance with the factory. Must be a Cyborg thing. Fujitora showing again that he's a standup guy with an actual brain in his head instead of having a 'if it's red it's dead' mentality. Kinda think that he represents a gradual shift in the Marines (aka, something that'll happen over the entire course of the New World). More about the spirit of the law (aka, good of the populace) vs the current Marines that seem more focused on the letter of the law. Might not be the best wording, but whatever. Current Marines is different than the Marines at the start of One Piece and it feels like there'll be another shift by the time One Piece is done. Coby is another Marine character that falls into a similar category as Fujitora does. I'm kinda curious how the two would interact if/when they meet, but Coby probably still has more training to do under Garp before that happens. | ||

I mean, there is the very healthy Zoro, Pirate A is missing. There is the admiral , there is Sabo , there is Hack , there is the other 2 samurai , there is so many revived Gladiator, the Handsome fighter, so many. 1 Injured Doflamingo . . . . All pin their lives on Luffy word of 10 min recover time to destroy doflamingo . I remember admiral like Sengoku , Garp , Akainu , Bosalino , Kuzan . They feel so undefeatable. See how the Imbalanced Akainu challege the whole whitebeard pirate, see how he beat Whitebeard. But why Purple Tiger didnt give me the Akuma feeling . He feels like Ryu . The result of dragging the story . . . . BTW, Zoro after 2 years, not injured, and nv show true power b4. Even if admiral cannot kill doflamingo. What about Zoro . . | ||

why can't viola stand up to doffy if she is the closest one even if that means she will die needlessly? why do you assume everyone knows whats happening anywhere else? is zoro informed about luffy's need for recovery? only three minutes where necessary for the bird cage to completely close and thanks to everyone else's effort it got delayed for what may seem two or more minutes. if zoro or anybody else left their posts (pushing the cage as we see in this chapter) to fight doffy the bird cage would be finished by now. | ||

Of course Garp is still the best marine in that regard: "he's my grandson" , "as expected of my grandson" edit: whereas one might argue that doflamingo should be taken out by a hot shot, there's something to realize: fujitora has his hands full saving citizen's lives (and it's not like you can call this a waste of time) sabo has his hands full with burgess zoro, aka pirate A, knows not to mess with his captain's fight* e: i'm curious about law | ||
