About the scar thingy, I think it's supposed to be from Akainu's punch as some people stated. The X shape coud easily be from whatever procedure Law had to perform in order to keep him alive, I state this because the scar looks like a big hole at the center with the X overlapped and since as we know... the Ope Ope No Mi doesn't give regenerative/healing powers, it just basically let him move things around, so I'm guessing in this case he had to do "a normal operation".

he has fruits in his bag and when luffy dies the rubber devil will go into one of the fruits in burgess's bag -> he'll become the rubber guy

How cool would it be if... Burgess actually stole the rubber fruit? So Luffy now was fruitless? So good.

Doesn't BB just need the recent dead body of a fruit user in order to absorb the fruit ? Just before the fruit respawn elsewhere that is.
So Burgess just incapacitate them and bring them to BB.
Man that guys is way too OP.

I'm pretty sure he'd "steal" the fruit the same way that Caesar did when he killed smiley. Burgess probably has a bag of devil and regular fruit on his back so when he kills someone then their fruit gets imprinted on the fruit in his backpack. What I don't get is why they want the Gomu fruit over the Ito fruit. Luffy might be able to do some crazy shit with it but the Ito fruit is fucking God tier. Maybe he doesn't think he's powerful enough to take down Doflamingo?

He obviously block it with his abs imbued with haki. At this point it's pretty clear that Luffy stands no chance if they were both fresh and slug it out in a 1vs1 fight to the death. Mingo basically can just stand there and let luffy beat on him till luffy gets tired out. Luffy is too fucking dumb to use strategy to trick mingo to let down his guard, so he would just straight up try to pummel Mingo like he's been doing.

I dont think that Luffy is tired because of G4, I think that Luffy is tired because of his training during time-skip. Its pretty obvious that he would still be tired from 2 years of constant training against giant animals.
Dont bother trying to show me "evidence" that he is tired from G4, because I will just ignore it for some reason. You cannot prove that if he wasn't really tired from training still that he wouldn't be able to use G4 for way longer, and that (for some reason) is all I need to think I am right regardless of any "foreshadowing" or "evidence" that might be to the contrary.
Who needs evidence when my theory I just made it cant be 100% shown to be false?
EDIT: On a serious note, why -is- burgess after the Gomu Gomu fruit? I guess if he's already physically strong it would suit him? But surely there are higher tier fruits he could go after :S
Maybe because of how infamous Luffy the fruits infamy has gone up as well? Like FOTM strats or champs?
