That's what I was thinking too, but Gin is a badass anyway. 
Although, I still don't get how his sword seeming grows to become so long. o.O
I also hope Kubo isn't THAT predictable and instead goes for the less predictable Hougyoku will save him because it grants him his wish thing.

I don't think you have to use spoilers anymore now that the chapter is released.
Gin was my favorite character before this and this definitely reinforced it. Though if Aizen does some lame "All according to plan" thing, which I have a feeling he is, I will be raging at Kubo. From the last page though, it looks like Gin could just grab the Hogyoku.

The 14 year old THINKS he killed Kubo, but in actuality it was all part of Kubo's master plan and the kid is actually under hypnosis and thus he didn't ACTUALLY kill Kubo.

yeah. gin said he lied about his bankai, so why would aizen not have lied about his own bankai's hypnosis abilitiy? that or next chapter is probably aizen saying gin was already in hypnosis before he touched the blade.

Hmmm bleach has always been pretty predictable in my opinion so I doubt there will be any twist to next weeks chapter....so gin was probably under hypnosis and if not then I'm guessing Aizen has high speed regeneration powers now

One of the millions of things that piss me off about Bleach is the requirement for every character to explain what every single one of their moves do. Fuuuck even DBZ moved at a faster pace than this.

I'd say everyone. But what I didn't see coming was how poorly Kubo handled it. I was expecting Gin to totally stomp Aizen at some really important moment. But this seems more like something Kubo thought up because he realized there's no sensible way for Ichigo to make it in time. In other words, filler material. But we'll see.
