That's because Ichigo mysteriously becomes weaker after he gets really strong all of sudden. When he first fought Kenpachi, he only had shikai and it was a draw. When Ichigo got bankai, he was almost able to fight evenly with Byakuya with his hollow part giving him the win eventually. After Ichigo got control of his follow form, he mysteriously weakened so that Byakuya and Kenpachi are even with him even with his hollow form. When he fought Ulquiorra, he needed a second vizard form with horns to defeat him. Somehow, Byakuya and Kenpachi were able to keep up with him in their fight against Yammy even though he had his horned form. Then in FKT, little ice boy was able to keep up with a stronger espada than Ulquiorra, even though Ichigo was completely outmatched in his first vizard form. Kubo dropped the ball big time on his power levels. | ||

+ Show Spoiler [massive spoilers] + Gin betrays Aizen O_O...it also seems that his zanpakuto's primary ability wasn't even massive lengthening/shortening. It was actually to break itself down into a dust (much like Rangiku's!) and poison stuff. O_O | ||

I think Gin betraying Aizen is like Aizen betraying society in the first place. Kubo has been pulling all kind of shit lately, so i guess i kinda saw it coming (assuming emp isn't t-wording). | ||

Shit finally got real. Obviously I don't expect Aizen to die to this first attack, so I'm looking forward to the Gin/Aizen fight and Gin's hollow powers. | ||
