You can't just ignore some people in the manga and the occasional page spend on them is pretty nice. But the Supreme Commander dropping by to say a few words to them is just stupid. - Are the Bleach movies and fillers canon in the anime? - We find out that Isshin was the former Captain of Squad 10. How do none of the Captains and even the Captain-Commander not notice him during the final fight against Aizen? - Expanding on the last question, how did no one connect the dots that Ichigo was Isshin's son when he first entered Soul Society early in the series? I assume it was because Isshin was known as Isshin Shiba back then? - I am a confused about the latest events that happened in the manga. We find out that Ichigo's former zanpakuto was not his. Does that mean that his original powers and Bankai are Isshin's and he sort of borrowed them? - The Visored were consider criminals or exiles in Soul Society right? Why did some of them become Captains and lieutenants after defeating Aizen? I'm guessing the current Captains and the Captain-Commander allowed them to join because they were a big help during the war with Aizen and his Espada? - Was it ever explained why Ichigo and Kaien look so similar? Is it just a coincidence since they are blooded related? Just some questions that I currently have. I'm sure some of them were explained, but I somehow missed it =P | ||

They actually thought he looked like Kaien shiba. In one scene Ichigo turns up to save Rukia (at the very start of bleach) and one captain remarks "Oh my god.. is that...?" and the other captain responds "I thought so too, but no". Can't remember the names. Later it turns out they thought he looked a lot like Kaien (and Isshin) but with red hair. - I am a confused about the latest events that happened in the manga. It was his, but a supressed version.... his Soul Reaper powers were being supressed by his Quincy Powers and he never got to know his "real" zanpukuto. Eventually his quincy powers stopped interfering but Ichigo only recently found out the truth and released his REAL zanpukuto. - The Visored were consider criminals or exiles in Soul Society right? Why did some of them become Captains and lieutenants after defeating Aizen? I'm guessing the current Captains and the Captain-Commander allowed them to join because they were a big help during the war with Aizen and his Espada? Most of them were captains and/or luitenants before the fact. Once the Captain Commander and the new Central 46 gained more understanding of Visored they came to accept them. - Was it ever explained why Ichigo and Kaien look so similar? Is it just a coincidence since they are blooded related? All the Shiba's are drawn similarly.. similar hair styles, appearance, attitude... they are blood related.. it's not a coincidence... they SHOULD look alike right? | ||

So it looks like Bleach is having its last call. Confirmed in this weeks issue of jump. Here and here. Rough translation is as follows: After this weeks issue, Bleach will be on hiatus from Jump 35-40. Starting from jump 41 (09/09), the last arc "1000 years Blood Ward Arc - The Separation Story" will start. Before the last battle, i will be going on a long hiatus so that I can approach the final battle fully charged and give it my absolute all. When the manga resumes, please prepare yourselves for the "1000 years Blood Ward Arc - The Separation Story". yay? | ||

Manga creator Tite Kubo will be putting his Bleach series on hiatus from this year's 35th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine to the 40th issue. The manga will return in the 41st issue on September 9 with the beginning of the manga's finale, "Sennen Kessen-Hen - Ketsubetsu-tan." Kubo explained that he is going on hiatus to work on the manga's "last battle." P.S. FUCK! | ||

While that's true in the larger scheme of things, the use of it makes it seem that Bleach will end soon. But then we have to consider the multitude of characters and how they fit in the story, who they fight; the many character build-ups, their trials and progression, there's so much going on right now. With that in mind, this could very well take Kubo at least 2-3 years (hopefully more) to complete. Granted, he doesn't rush things, shorten fights (off-panel Kenpachi anyone?) and cut plot lines. | ||
