Where was it stated that Uryu's mom was a pure quincy? I thought that his dad ended up hooking up with the maid chick who obviously loved him.

So that means pure Ryuken + mixed Katagiri = Uryu mixed blood.
Ichigo's mom, Masaki was pure blood but became tainted when Isshin saved her. She became part Shinigami and part Hollow, part human because of the tethering process that Urahara had to do to Isshin and her to save her from the hollowfication which was never intended for Quincies.
So there's nothing inconsistent with this at all. She became tainted through the Urahara/hollowfication situation, and Uryu was born impure.

Guys.
You shouldn't think so hard about this Quincy/Hybrid Quincy/Purge events stuff.
All you need to know is that Ichigo is the Ultimate Being(Shinigami,Vizard,Quincy,Fullbringer,Human) that will defeat Ywach in one shot.

(Byakuya was supposed to die but didn't?)
(Bad Ass Yamamoto losing to some shit clone making his bankai reveal look terrible)
(The new Sternritter girls are basically a copy from the Arrancar trio under Tia Harribel)
Rant over.
Bleach used to be good during the beginning and SS arc and the first Arrancar arc.
But then Kubo dragged the whole Arrancar arc and then the super long process of defeating Aizen.
I sincerely thought defeating Aizen was the end of Bleach.
Many people also thought so during the time since there was no villains left.
This arc that will lasted probably 5-10 years won't be terrible(well it probably could be worse) and I hope it can actually be coherent in terms of plot.

I think each quincy can only steal one bankai. I didn't see any one of them steal more than one.
The point behind the liutenants training for bankai is for them to outpower the second tier Vandereich and in that way not have quincies around capable of stealing their bankai once the first tier quincies steal the captain's bankais.
That's my theory anyways....

theres 26 vandreich and not 26 bankai users plus bach can make arrancars and give them a badge and have them go steal a bankai
it is not at all a good plan to try to overwhelm the quincies with so many bankais they cant steal them all because tehy can use the bankais theyve stolen
