Aizen's hollows ~ some type of the maker's sword spirit. Because they're made out of shinigami? When the hollow fuses with the shinigami, that makes the zanpakutou Because that's what the sword spirit does? So therefore the hollow is the fused combination, hence the follow form. | ||

All quincy's have their powers "borrowed" from Yhwach Ichigo is a quincy Ichigo's mother had a hollow Somehow Aizen's experiment took control of quincy powers Isshin and Masaki having a child = 1/2 Shinigami 1/4 hollow 1/4 quincy Shinigami power is the majority thus, making ichigo a shinigami? Zanpakuto somehow assumes Yhwach's appearance but still a zanpakuto Conclusion: Ichigo's power level right now is at 3/4. The other unused 1/4 is quincy Ichigo will be a omnipotent being | ||

Pretty sound plan as far as I'm concerned. As silly as it is objectively, I always get nerdchills when Ichigo shows some super cool new out-of-nowhere tranformation and crushes the local strongest guy. Like when he broke out of Aizen's Kurohitsugi by tearing it apart with one hand :D | ||

Cmon lol There are a lot of hints about this and about Hollow Ichigo being his real Zanpakutou, not fake-Zangetsu. Also, check this out. Remember Tensa and Hichigo fusing? And Opie using Sklaverei? They're so oddly simillar. And all of the Hollow's claims of being Zangetsu repeatedly to Ichigo, who didn't believe it... Even if it was shoehorned in, it was done nicely.
