Or she no longer carried a Quincy charm/amulet thing with her, having left the whole thing behind. This does potentially explain why Ichigo's hollowfication happened the way it did, as opposed to the assumption that he was just so powerful that a mask formed first. | ||

It's not really new. Ichigo's bankai shattered his bones when he was fighting Byakuya in SS arc when he was still recovering from training/weak from injuries/inexperienced. Edit: Also I'm pretty sure people with self damaging releases (Unohana, Yama's bankai) shouldn't use them injured either. | ||

-Isshin is actually a Uchiha and can use fire style jutsu -If you are cut ONCE by invisible dudes with swords, you can't use bankai -The real reason why Kenpachi never uses bankai is because he's always cut up and would die under his own pressure -Ichigo's Mom can kill Hollow Ichigo v1.0 but can't kill a hollow that Ichigo managed to kill without even shikai -Bulletpoints of the ridiculousness of this chapter further outlines the ridiculousness | ||
