You forgot about that other substitute shinigami guy, he needs to come back, freebring himself into god mode kill a bunch of people.

I dunno hey. Kenpachi losing like that. Not even a scratch on the king... made me sad.
Don't care about the Ichicgo fights tbh. I just read it to see Kenpachi go apeshit. lol.
I did however, enjoy the close up on his face to show the eyepatch was taken off.
Tbh, I'm not sure there are many ppl in bankai mode are match for kenpachi. And that includes Byakuya's millions of needles (This is kenpachi we're talking about), or Hitsuga's ice is going to be enough. I can even see him going through the Flower guys Bankai pretty easily tbh. If damage is all relative, even if its not a popular colour, enough force on it... Nuf said.
Also not too sure about Genryuu-sama losing tbh. Maybe a draw and they both are incapacitated ? If ichigo rocks up and beats this guy NP, will be pretty bleak with it. Also, don't forget they promised to show Division 0 this time. Can't end this simply.

Nah just some random group. This is like the first half of the arc. The series has like 3 or so years left on it lol.
Aizen is still the only one to have give us an idea as to what we are ending up with, referring to the soul king as a horrible monster.
No idea why they havent had Orihime heal CC's or Soifons arms yet.

Genryuusai can't win. Ichigo's not even there yet. Unfortunately the main char is always the one to finish off the baddie. Genryu is gonna kick the buckit.

My problem wouldn't be that Kenpachi died. If he's given a glorious death with an awesome battle, then I can accept it. Sometimes even the awesome characters need to die. However, if he's actually killed off without even showing the battle, then that'd be really aggravating.

I've said it before...the fact that Byakuya (and now Kenpachi) didn't have 5 chapters dedicated to their deaths basically proves that no one is staying dead.
Kubo is essentially taking the easy way out to pretend that these new guys are a big deal.

While Kugo may not be the writer he once was, this is the final arc, and I'm willing to bet that he's not just looking to reset the status quo after all the fightings done. I mean his portrayal of soul society in general has always been a far from ideal one. in fact Ichigo has always existed almost solely to make it a better place, so while I have no doubts that the big bads are going down, I don't think they'll be dispensed without considerable sacrifice and we will be leaving a very different soul society from the considerably rigid (albeit fascinating) one that was originally introduced.

Well, that turned real sour real sudden.
I was reading the chapter and thinking: "Finally a good chapter!" Gloves were coming off, all people getting energized, I love chapters were people rally behind a hero.
Then, out of the blue, there's this guy holding a bloody Kenpachi... Why would you make an enemy that steals Bankai's, get a captain that can handle his own WITHOUT bankai to fight said enemies and then NOT show the fight?
Honestly, I'm glad Bleach is close to the end because, I know it took a loooong time, but this is my turning point...
