![]() Amazing movie! ![]() First time I saw it the other day, one of my favorite movies now. David Fincher is a genius. The music is incredible too, such a tense atmosphere throughout.

1. Hellraiser 2. Hellbound: Hellraiser II Skipped hellraiser 3 as netflix doesnt have it for whatever reason on instant play like the others 4. Hellraiser: Bloodline 5. Hellraiser: Inferno 6. Hellraiser: Hellseeker I will get to the other 2 (theres a 9th as well but that was merely an ashcan work) Dear god this series went downhill fast. I liked the first one well enough, felt like a unique horror movie like most series first, but just like Freddy, jason, michael, jigsaw, critters--it went downhill fast. The worst part about these is that pinhead wasnt even the focal point of most of them--he is actually just a character that shows up in most.

the action and fighting was cool, being french there was lots of "parKour" the story was okay the setting was amazing, it felt like watching "The Wire" on Steroids ---- Rofl, just opened Wiki on that movie, no wonder the movie is what it is, Produced by Luc Besson and one of the inventors of parkour plays a main character... District 13 (French: Banlieue 13) is a 2004 French action film directed by Pierre Morel and written and produced by Luc Besson.[2] It has also been released as District B13 and Barrio 13 (Australia DVD release)[3] It has also been known as B13 on French posters used to advertise the film. The film is notable for its depiction of parkour in a number of stunt sequences that were completed without the use of wires or computer generated effects. Because of this, some critics have drawn comparisons to the popular Thai film Ong-Bak.[4][5][6] David Belle, a founder of parkour, appears in the film as one of its protagonists, Leïto. ![]()

![]() The Lincoln Lawyer Really good. Twist after twist after twist. All you could want from a lawyer movie. ![]() Rango At first it bored me to death and I turned it off after 20 minutes. Then I haven't got anything else to do so I finished it. Liked the Fistful of Dollars references but otherwise the movie was pretty bland. ![]() Super 8 Started out good but went down pretty fast. It's a bit like a mix of E. T. and The Goonies. But The Goonies was awesome and this is not.

Saw: X:Men First Class ![]() It was basically as expected, no surprises, I have a complaint that every one of the mutants is pretty boring and lame other than X and Magneto and Mystique and I guess Beast (or has a totally ridiculous power like the main villain, where if you think about it, his power has basically no rules whatsoever considering what energy is), so it's basically their drama show. Which is compelling enough, but nothing special. Also the normal humans are basically entirely brain dead foils other than the initially promising CIA chick whose character stalls halfway through. Passes the time fine, but don't think about it much because it gets more cheesy and dumb the more you think. 6/10 Super 8 ![]() This is a fun throwback style movie, that I loved but was also frustrated by at the same time. The answer doesn't live up to the setup, which is very lovingly done and quite amazing and incredibly fun. But then it starts to gradually run more and more off the rails with some cheesy stuff, not so badly that it's ruined, but enough to make you wish it ended up going somewhere better. The good will outweighed the bad at the end of the day for me significantly though. The best parts of it are so good. 8/10

I expect most of you have already seen it already but it's worth a watch if you haven't, generally entertaining, some good TvZ-esque action and Denise Richards is pretty damn hot in it. I would say Dina Meyer is actually hotter if it weren't for her floppy tits (shallow thing to say, but this is the internet and I still think she's hotter anyways). Her acting is way better anyways. lulz at the moment when Richards is running to the shuttle with her co cadet pilot and 2 trainees and they do this super gay playful tap shit that looks so unrealistic, hahaha. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000539/ SST is the best movie ever

![]() Akira Kurosawa's Dreams - Per recommendation I watched this. Basically a collection of short films based on dreams Kurosawa had. Really enjoyed it, every piece in this is just beautiful. Another one of those movies where I think RT can fuck off (53% my ass) ![]() Rashomon - Classic. I guess I sort of hated how it's never revealed who is telling the truth, it tell's the sides of the story and leaves the watcher to guess. It was great, but just lacked the epic scope of movies like Ran and Throne of Blood. I would probably rate this after those two in terms of favorite Kurosawa films I have seen. ![]() Red Beard - An arrogant post-graduate med student gets stationed to a rural clinic in japan for training, under the assumed tyrant control of a doctor known as Red Beard. Eventually he learns about not just medicinal practice but respect and humility for the patients under his care. Was great, although it is a little over three hours long, has some slow parts, couldn't really handle it in one sitting. ![]() True Grit - Good western, thats about it. ![]() Apollo 13 - Been a long time since I last watched this so it was pretty fresh. Tense as fuck once they get up there. Just hated when they went back to the guys family and his bitchy kids, like fuck, why break up the momentum for this bitch whining over the beatles -__- ![]() Grown-Ups - Mostly full of tasteless jokes, they have so much comedic talent in the cast and they just waste it. When the funniest part of a movie is Kevin James breaking an above ground pool, your comedy movie has problems (that scene was pretty funny the first time I saw it though.)

![]() Unthinkable 10/10. Simply amazing. Best movie I've seen in a while. Holy crap! I freaking love how they managed to show a very important and hard ethical/moral problem of torture. They're showing you scenes, certain points of view and stands, pose a thousand questions and then leave you without any answers. Excellent mental excersise and excellent filmmaking. Really great job on keeping the movie morally ambiguous, showing different perspectives but not judging or favoring any of them. It's been a while since any movie left me in a contemplative state. ![]() Transformers: Dark of the Moon Meh, 3/10 at best. Only 1 scene worth watching in the entire movie (wingsuits). @ Enki: If you wish to continue your Kurosawa adventure I'd like to recommend more of his movies: Kagemusha and Ame Agaru (this last one written by AK but directed by his son).
