I loved it though.
I recommend a movie called 'A Serious Man', a new Coen brothers film (Burn after Reading, No Country for Old men) and 'The Girl Who Leapt Through Time', a anime about a teenage girl with a sci fi time traveling twist.

I nominated that comment because it was so horrible and clueless that it became classic in my book. I feel sorry for making you sit through that.

Is Salt actually worth watching? I saw the trailer when I was watching Inception and it looked like a contender for worst movie of the year judging by that. If it wasn't a veiled parody on bad action movies.

![]() Sweet movie, definitely worth a watch if you can see it for free. I don't understand how they got lindsay lohan to do nude scenes and were able to cast jessica alba as a main character, but without those two facts this movie just wouldn't be as good. Either way, though, sweet action and a sweet main character as well as hilarious cameos and mexican jokes. Good stuff.

![]() Fucking epic! I can't believe I didn't see that one before. ![]() I know it's a classic, but protagonists decisionmaking in this movie is rather dubious and the story itself is pretty weak with a lot of untied ends and stupid shit. Good idea, nice acting from AP (as usual) but it got screwed.

Just one example, "one of the greatest scenes":

I thought the twist was pretty dumb. + Show Spoiler + If you can infiltrate that many extremely well trained, educated, pedigreed people into all those high level positions across government, why not just groom a presidential candidate instead? One of them is going to win. ![]() I think this might be my favorite Wes Anderson (Rushmore, Royal Tenenbaums, Life Aquatic) movie to date. It's distinctively one of his films, from the dialogue to the shots. and the character are all lovable. It's not just a cute kids story (not that Roald Dahl books ever were), it's a really well done movie. If you're a fan of Anderson, go see it. If you're a fan of Roald Dahl, go see it. Also, Willem Dafoe is in it.

![]() features Emma Stone, and is already pretty highly acclaimed its PG-13, borderline R, and its an hour and a half perfect characteristics for a movie to be seen online, but idk if you wanna pay theatres for the length

The road was garbage, nothing progressively happened. There was no actual development of the story. I really don't understand why people like it.

seriously the worst movie I´ve seen since something like 2002ish? (it was an Ice-T movie I only could watch for like 10 minutes it was so bad) Granted I don´t watch a lot shitty movies or hollywood productions but that just had to be the worst thing imaginable. Even if it was meant for like 10 year old kids that movie was so degrading...I´m speechless. And to have a great actor like Don Cheadle (Hotel Rwanda anyone?) in it...just goes over my head. I normally don´t get this mad after seeing a bad movie, it says it all really. Luckily I´ve seen some nice movies too recently: Love Exposure Swing Girls 3-Iron Departures Internal Affairs just to name a few. Most of these thanks to TL recommendations.

![]() Pretty good movie about an unappreciated youth and the uncertainty that sort of thing causes. One of the significant French New Wave films (the movement that really inspired and brought the modern age of films). I didn't immediately love it, it's one of those where it ended and my immediate reaction was "Hmm." Then his character became more and more realized in my head upon reflection.
