First american movie I remember I have seen (Probably seen others, but this was the first one I remember)
So epic, this sparkled my imagination again and again. Just rewatched it, it's still great

Very strange movie, I can't really fit it into any sort of genre. You start off thinking it's going to be a mystery, and it is in a sense, but nothing ever gets resolved and conclusions are only implied. It was also very interesting because there were moments of extreme violence, but only the aftermath is ever shown. It definitely doesn't reaffirm any beliefs in the goodness of humanity, prepare for something fun to do afterwards because it's a downer.

![]() Just watched it this afternoon. While not as engrossing as the first Wall Street, and way too much Oliver Stone preaching for my own good, I thought the overarching theme of this movie was done well. I watched Wall Street last week to refresh my memory a bit, and it was unnecessary, as this sequel could be seen as a stand alone film. Although there were many references to the first one, including some Gekko one-liners. If you enjoyed the first movie, you would most likely enjoy this one. It's cleanly done, great cinematography.

I don't understand how they got lindsay lohan to do nude scenes and were able to cast jessica alba as a main character, but without those two facts this movie just wouldn't be as good. Either way, though, sweet action and a sweet main character as well as hilarious cameos and mexican jokes. Good stuff. Lindsay Lohan used an obvious body double for most of it. You can tell when you could see "her" boobs but not her face. But i was dissapointed a bit with the movie overall. It was not as good as Grindhouse was.

It was visually cool minus the fucking strobe light annoying blinking the entire fucking movie, it was so obnoxious. I seriously was in the movie theater fighting off the urge to have a seizure. But it was really innovative with camera work, and ideas. If you like Gaspar Noe you'd love this film, its very dark and surreal, but towards the end I kinda lost what the movies purpose was, and what i thought the premise of the movie was, turned out not to be. I felt it should have ended sooner than what it did as well. There are some really superfluous scenes in this movie that I found myself questioning what the fuck it was in the movie for. Gaspar Noe used alot of shock tactics to put the movie over edge, but I personally just found them annoyingly uncomfortable. All in all i'll give it a rating of 3.2 out of 5. A worth seeing, but not a worth seeing twice. Disclaimer: Do not see this fucking movie if you are epileptic or have a history of seizures, cause it will fuck you up.

![]() The movie was better than I expected, the ending was alright. Tons of action though with a fairly deep story line and great acting. Don Draper as an FBI agent was pretty kick ass.

![]() The basic concept for the movie is good, but the movie itself is a disaster. Since so far it's just been Book One, I assume there are going to be at least 2 more movies in the series, this is how they could be saved: 1. Fire Shayamalan or whatever the name of the director is. 2. Move the story a couple years forward because the kids/teenagers starring there are horribad, and this way they could at least change the actors. 3. Drop the boring crap and make more action scenes with special effects since these look great (unfortunately, all action you see in this movie can be seen in the trailer which totals to like 45 seconds, maybe 1 minute throughout this 1h40min movie...).

![]() Not only is it the worst Resident Evil movie (which is quite a feat in itself), it's the worst zombie movie ever made and should be in contention for worst movie of the decade. You know you're in for retarded/cheesy/thoughtless shit when the movie opens with samurai swords and throwing stars, but then they make dogs venus fly traps, as if that makes them scarier?, and fucking Astaroth makes a cameo, but no one can figure out why. ![]() Perhaps worst of all, THEY SWITCH BETWEEN SLOW AND FAST ZOMBIES DURING THE SAME MOVIE. WITHIN LIKE 2 MINUTES OF EACHOTHER. I don't ask for much when I see shitty zombie movies, but consistent zombies is a requirement. Chalk it up with Clash of the Titans.
