It's a movie that pays tribute to the 1960s (I guess the older age is the more appropriate way to call it because I simply do not know) movie industry. A number of interesting plots and discussions here and there but none of them actually have much development. Don't expect it to be a comedy, you would be seriously disappointed.

Avoid at all costs. Total waste of time. Spotlight 10/10, 'nuff said...

Funny movie with plenty of quirks for the time it was made and for the time its source material was written. Ancient mushrooms that they can eat, they live underground for months on their journey, and the main character is Scottish in name only because I've had farts more Scottish than he tried to be. I've been on a kick of older movies I've found on Netlfix or Hulu. Next up is Zatoichi the Blind Swordsman.

Can you explain what you mean by Adam Sandler style comedy. I follow and can appreciate the Mask reference but I don't see the connection to Adam Sandler. Bear in mind, I've not seen any past Click from him.

and to say it isn't funny to anyone is a clear lie for attention.

The Insider - Watched this old movie again and it still is very relevant today as it was then. I haven't seen Spotlight yet but I hope that the politics vs. ethical dilemma in the journalism industry is presented as well as it was in this movie. Pineapple Express - Seth Rogen and James Franco stoner comedy. Some really funny sequences and some not so.

Why did you feel so impatient or annoyed by the movie? I thought it was gorgeous and I love slow novelesque stories, abstract feelings and the like. I could count a few indulgent scenes, but I don't make films and I might be wrong. I thought it was very similar to The Badlands. Oh, I just watched The Witch. Excellent low budget slow burn terror fest! SO many things to love. Best of the recent modern classics, The Babadook, It Follows.

Spectre - The first action scene is good but it went pretty much unspectacular the rest of the movie. Bond movies are getting surpassed in entertainment value by Bond clones (Mission Impossible, Man from U.N.C.L.E) and parodies (Kingsman). The Walk - saw the documentary before but this one is a lot more fun. High-wire walking between the twin towers is captured in this film quite well. The preparation and mentality of the artist and his conspirators are well explained. Joseph Gordon-Levitt with a French accent is a little funny at first but got used to it in the end. Trumbo - Excellent acting by Bryan Cranston and others really elevated this story. Didn't much care about the communist witch hunts in the 50's and 60's or screenwriters but by showing how a blacklisted talent persevered through the times and even excelling is really quite interesting.

Another remake of a classic. It was quite alright though. I've enjoyed watching it. All of the extreme sports scenes were done and filmed brilliantly.
