Just got home from Deadpool. Was everything I expected it to be as a fan of the comicbooks. Did it exceed expectations? probably not. But I enjoyed it, and that's what matters to me. I think it's fair to say, justice was done.

You see his dick shortly in one scene but it's not very clear and fairly dark.

The scene where he's just escaped from the tube at the facility and he's fighting francis, when he's flying through the room you sometimes can see his privates
From the Ghastly Eyrie I can see to the ends of the world, and from this vantage point I declare with utter certainty that this one is in the bag!

i uncovered this little gem....

Jon Anderson has more talent in his tonsils than most musicians have in their whole body.

i'm pretty sure "the bird" they mention in the first couple of minutes is the "Maltese Falcon".

I'm guessing the Thief of Baghdad, but I think the musical track is all original. Just the samples and lyrics are from movies.

Watched Misconduct (2016) starring Anthony Hopkins and Al Pacino.

It was definitely one of the worst movies I saw in my life. Everything about it was bad. It is like a C category movie so I have no clue what those two actors were thinking.
sorry for dem one liners

I remembered! It was in an episode of Fringe.

Its used really well in this scene, and I remember instantly looking up the song after I saw the episode.

the 1st half of the song is about a 1941 movie entitled "The Maltese Falcon". It is the 1st movie of a genre entitled Film Noir. I find the cutting edge of a new genre to be a fascinating study.

i'm a big fan of movies like "Jackie Brown" where the viewer constantly questions who is playin' whom. The Maltese Falcon is similar in that way.

because i'm a big fan of both "Yes" and Jon Anderson I discovered "The Maltese Falcon".

if you are interested in the history of US film making then "The Maltese Falcon" is a must see.

Rob Roy - still good. Great acting, intriguing story, evil bad guys, very well done swordfight choreography. Liam Neeson as an honorable Scot before he became master jedi.

Woman in Gold - ok movie. Not that interested in paintings and portraits but had mild curiousity about the outcome, specially after it reached the US Supreme Court.

Child 44 - Tom Hardy is great and the movie started really well until it got bogged down by so many side stories. Realized I saw another movie a long time ago called Citizen X which was way better and faithful to the story about the capture of the Russian serial killer. I saw that movie only once but I still remember scenes from it.

Self/Less - mildly interesting but ultimately too much suspension of disbelief. Ryan Reynolds as a younger Ben Kingsley does not work very well.

A Brave Heart - doc about Lizzie Velasquez. Really touching and felt genuine anger. Am glad she is still doing well. You can listen to her tell her story in Ted talk.

The Big Lebowski

Never watched it before, and it's beyond me that so many people like that film. It might be the worst movie I've ever seen.
Nothing happens at all, it's incredibly boring. 2-3 funny scenes but thats about it.

I have to be in the right mood to watch the Cohen Brothers in general. I'd let it sit for a while and give it another go months from now, see how it strikes you then.

Now I have to listen to CCR all morning though :p
