Manchurian kidnap Ja-in on her wedding day with her childhood sweetheart Seo-Goon. Her brother Nam-Yi defeats the enemy and save his sister and the other Korean victims with only one bow. i thought it was great, only down side is cg of a tiger, though its presence in the movie is a total of ~4 seconds, the movie is beautiful but seeing this CG tiger threw me off a bit. | ||

I really loved the idea and all the dead artists were just wonderful IMO. I think Owen Wilson was a fit for his role, although I've never really liked him. I think it was interesting enough although it didn't really have a strong culmination IMO. Or then it was just so predictable. Worth watching. 7.5/10 Uhh, that's all I can remember, the rest was probably really bad. | ||

Not a lot of action, I dont know why its rated R >.> but nice mystery | ||

Absolutely loved the concept and presentation, sci-fi without any fancy CGI was pretty refreshing too. One of the better sci-fi movies to be released as of late. It somehow bears this resemblance to old 80's (or maybe it was 70's) movie where you have utopian society but no one is over 30. I need to find this old movie and watch it again because it's gonna bug the hell out of me and I can't even remember the title... I've discovered that I really like movies with an intelligent villain. In both of these movies the main villain is batshit crazy but at the same time disturbingly intelligent allowing them to plan intricate schemes. | ||

They openly show entities too much I think. IMO the doctor at the end would have been much more terrifying if they had not shown the little girl do the same thing with her face earlier. Or not shown the other dude clinging to the ceiling. The hands coming out of the walls was freaky and I've never seen anything like that, kudos for that. And when they realize the hospital layout has changed to trap them it's creepy as hell. My gripe is the book on that altar is written in pagan runes trying(perhaps unintentionally) to demonize paganism by implying it's related to satanic rituals. That's already happened to the pentagram symbol, most people think that an upright pentagram is satanic too. Deadgirl. Well. The high school cliches didn't really do much for me. I guess if you were ever bullied badly you'd probably feel more for the main character. Though most dudes growing up lusted like he did so that's easy to relate to. As for the rest it's alright. The babe at the gas station is hilarious. The end is cool. | ||

When movies like immortals get decent ratings on RT and this doesn't you just see how the pockets of critics are just lined by movie-makers. 9/10 The special effects on the thing weren't made with real puppets like in the 1982 version, rather cgi. Therefore there was one scene where it just looked too unrealistic. It also could have had a few more mind-games. | ||
