I'm however disapointed there were no heads sliced of. Seemed like it was going to be a trademark of the show.

Can't you people understand the importance of not spoilering? Can't you just not hint? It's hardly hinting what most of you do, it's outright pointing it and building a neon sign. Just don't spoiler anything, just don't hint at anything. I have read the books and i would have been fucking pissed off if someone had spoilered something directly or even went "hint hint hint". Some posted a big piece about how the assasin having a knife doesn't make sense. Just say "it gets adressed in the book" like someone did. All you have to say is that it's not a plothole and will get adressed. Spoiler from the books (1-2-3-4) + Show Spoiler + I mean seriously. The entire suspense of the Tyrion arc gets fucking ruined if you allready know he is innocent because some people can't help themsves by going "lololol, it was Joffrey lol". That is probably more subtle then some other hinting i have seen going around. Suprise is everything in this story and by spoilering or hinting at stuff you completly ruin it. Have some self-control.

This thread is about the tv-show, and therefore it should be treated this way. There is a thread for the books, and it should be used for everything upwards of the upcoming tv-episodes. Whoever spoils certain things should be punished for it. Think about it, certain information mentioned without much thought, can ruin not only this season but even some of the books in their entirety, and therefore the whole experience for people that maybe dont know the books, but hugely enjoy the show and think about reading the books afterwards.

That being said you can go to http://asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/forum/42-e02-the-kingsroad/ to discuss the episode with no risk of spoilers.

If you can't do that then seeing spoilers on a discussion thread is your own fault His point was that people spoil stuff that happen later on in the books.

And that was a pretty good episode, really like the way how it's going. That scene with the butcher boy until then end with Lady was even so much better than in the books. God I hate Joffrey << Also the video review that was posted was pretty funny

I think its sad that the average American is so misanthropic they can stomach humans being brutally murdered but animals dying is too upsetting for them. The world really is a fucked up place these days. Anyway onto the actual show, I loved it, episode 2 was much better than episode 1(which was still great) in my opinion.

I think this is less for the viewers and more for the animal rights organizations that would be on the phone the second something like that was shown. In either case I agree, adult programming with adult content, if you can't stomach it then gtfo. As far the episode goes though, really liking the show so far. I have a friend who has read the books and I generally was able figure a lot of stuff just by the looks of how the characters were casted and the titles of the books. I don't mind spoilers so much so I was pretty happy to hear I was correct in many of my inclinations. He also likes to fill me in on the details they may leave out in the book, or things that happen that don't in the books. This is helping me get the book experience without having to read! So excited to see where this show goes, really upset that I'll probably have to wait forever for the series to conclude though considering all the books aren't written yet...hooray for season catch ups ![]()
