If it will, I fear the next one might be Geoffrey and he would be way too interesting to die If it can hit the same house twice before it has gone through every house, Rob is also VERY high on the list as he is a "good guy". With the lannisters it would be a bit difficult to decide wether Tywin or Geoffrey is the guy that would die following the faction leader rule. Another question is if Stannis is a viable option as his faction would effectively desintigrate with no more claim or claimant. The same goes for Daenerys. The Tyrells are not really on the death list as they are more followers than leaders and nowhere near danger. Mans Rayder (or however he is spelled) poses the same problem as Stannis and Dany. The remaining likely Candidates by this logic are Geoffrey, Tywin, Tywin being the most likely due to his close proximity to the war. Whats your guess?

Seriously, im going back and searching through the past 20 pages, people with 2 or more way too suspicious replies gonna get reported. I'm 100% sure about 1 guy, and 90% about another, but i need some proof. you think some people are pretending to be watching just the tv show when they really have read all the book? That's pretty damn evil trolling if they are spoiling things under the guise of "i havnt read the books" Yeah some people are doing this unfortunately. I probably suspect the same people as Geo.Rin does, but not much can be done about it. Damn trolls. But at least they have to mix their correct "guessing" with some mistakes, so that they dont get found out instantly. Which again means it is no real spoiler for others, because they never know what is true and whats not. Still, if someone really wants to be safe from spoilers he should avoid this thread completely.

And then maybe 2 seasons for book 4, and another 1-2 for book 5, which leaves him 3-4 years to finish book 7. edit: Interview was posted earlier in this thread. I can't find it atm tho. It had spoilers in it anyways, so not important.

The rumors aren't hidden at this point (didn't he ask about it himself in one of the episodes?). He probably just chose to ignore it "cuz I'm the king and I do what I want"

"He cites Joaquin Phoenix as Commodus in Gladiator as an influence on his portrayal of Joffrey.[5] Gleeson is a student of Trinity College, Dublin, and a member of DU Players. In 2012, he was awarded a scholarship at the same university.[6][7] Gleeson has indicated an intention to pursue an academic career rather than a professional acting career, once his work on Game of Thrones is completed." Wow, Commodus from Gladiator...one of the most despicable bad guys I've ever seen. It all makes sense now.

It seems to me as if the authors are deliberately going against obvious expectations. And your suggestions feel a bit too predictable. I come from the other side, which character is less likely to die in a 'normal' story but could be killed off if you think about it? For example, I am counting three Stark children... Now in any other series, kids would be kinda off-limit. And they did spend three seasons with different plots on them, but my guts tell me one could bite the dust without really spoiling the overall story. PS: Yes, none of them are 'faction leaders', but important story characters none the less.

Not really, it will just lead to "why did x do y in the show? in the book he does z" That will still be bannable and mods will follow up on it. At least in the minutes between when they post and when mods edit the spoiler, it's less spoilerific than an exact account of what is going to happen.

You have to be super careful with what you say here to not spoiler and if you go to the spoiler book thread you might stumble upon spoilers for book 5. lol, even on sites dedicated to ASOIAF, discussion threads are not enforced by scope in terms of spoilers. Sorry brah, it's all or none. I think it's better for you if you only hang out here and just talk about the show. It's better than the books anyway. =) There's another thread for people who want to discuss the show and the books together. This isn't it. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=225659 You're preaching to the choir man. I'm just advising this guy to post here and talk only about the show. Oh I was agreeing with you and just following up on what you said (other than the part where the show is better than the books =p).

I think Jon could be possible candidate. Jamie could be, too. A one handed swordsman aint enough to fight serious battles.
