Pretty much everything happening where Bronn and Tyrion are together is amazing. I really like how these two characters were portrayed and how they interacts.

Intriguing to see in each of the last 3 episodes, a major character from each story has died (Viserys, Robert and now Ned) and it seems like Drogo is following suit in the last episode, shits getting crazy yo!

Seemed to me to be sort of dried leaves of some kind, which would spell herbal medicine, which seems to fit with what a healer woman would do.

Everyone saw the episode where Drogo got wounded. Everyone saw how insignificant it was. Everyone saw some healer/witch put a mat of herbs on his wound. Drogo is suddenly dying from an obviously insignificant wound, that should not pose a risk untended. He is dying from an insignificant wound being tended, however. Drogo's bodyguard even said he believes the witch was the reason he's dying. Lets ignore all that. Instead, it's just an unrealistic infection.

tyrion is just the most awesome character. i hope he gets a bigger (lol) role coming up. its creating an interesting dynamic because you are rooting for the starks, but also tyrion the lanister. wonder how things will play out. did anyone else just hope to god that aria would kill geoferry there at the end? oh man my heart was racing, i wanted it so bad. such a fantastic show.

I mean they even showed the skirmish with the mountain clans when Tyrion was being taken to the Vale so they should at least have shown the scene where Jaime is taken in battle. Besides, combat prowess is supposed to be this huge part of Jaime's character.

I was never expecting a LOTR-esque bird-eye overview of huge armies to begin with, but come on, there are plenty of ways to show "cost-efficient" battle scenes with not that many people appearing on screen. Besides, combat prowess is supposed to be this huge part of Jaime's character. The character interacts and political movings are so much interesting than battle scenes. If you want action I don't think this is your show ;(

Actually that was not her doing if you are referring to what Jorah removed from the wound. She arrives only afterwards and after looking at him says she cannot help him. To me the whole scene looked like she didn't tend to his wounds except for that time right after he got it. That kind of spread around his wound does not happen over night, she would have acted differently if she was the one tending him all the time (and so would Dany).

Sam saves all the scenes at the wall. His acting is so brilliant. He is my 3rd pick for best portrayal of the character after Tyrion and Arya. Well Tyrion is not your typical Lannister. And we can see his father does not love him (with father like that who needs enemies :D), and he does not love his father. Arya getting anyone at the end was wishful thinking. The best she would have achieved was get her self captured or killed.

It's to say that it's people's common sense that such a small wound should not be able to take the life of someone with brute strength and is battle-hardened. Also, stop talking about the books in this thread. I thought the mod notes is big enough for everyone to see.

Allister and Aemon are both awesome also. I liked the scene with Jon and Aemon in ep9 more than the zombie scene in the previous episode. Even though relatively little has happened at the wall compared to other places in relation to "screen time", I think the scenes have been well done and enjoyable.

Still, as war and politics are so closely related, I think they should at least show one battle scene for the show. Just one is enough, and of course it doesn't need to be huge as the ones in LOTR.
