Episode 8 was absolutely brilliant, loved it entirely. Fight scenes were amazing.

if goffrey (dont know if thats spelling) isnt executed or otherwise killed in the season finale i will be thoroughly disappointed. i feel like cersei (again not sure on the spelling) and goffrey are a metaphor for helicopter mom's and there spoiled entitled little #$%@ kids. Im not saying this entirely warrants death but goffrey and cersei have a lot of blood on their hands. after what happened to barasten (lol i know sry) i have had it with him.
also i dont know about you guys but if they end the season on some giant cliffhanger, kittens will die and i will be forced to give up on the show. I cant stand that, its effective marketing but bad cinema. but, we'll see i guess

How is that the Dothraki lenguage wiki isn't on the original post.
Yesterday I told my gf "Yer jalan atthirari anni" and she thought i was making that up until i told her to look it out on google and she rofled all day.

the first episode i could watch with a house full of people without seeming like a terrible person for watchin porn on the big screen with my entire family home... ahhahah.
I completely agree. This show and spartacus fell into the "people watch cause we show a porno in every episode" and every single person i have ever talked to about spartacus said the worst part of the show was porn scenes being jammed down their throats when they werent even necessary... and i was extremely happy to have an episode with no sex scene.
i mean the occasional sex scene to convey a message/idea but half of the spartacus episodes were just porno movies.. and i was scared this show would become that but its been WAY more balanced and i actually didnt miss the porn scene at all in the last one.
also i thought this was the best episode yet... and was the saddest moment yet i have had while watching GoT... the end of this episode i was like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO" just cause i wasnt ready for it to end lol. everytime my GoT of the week is over i just feel sad now lol.

I still don't think there was any Episode with "tons of sex" that would make you ashamed watching in the public/with your parents?
I mean, if the scene is set in a whorehouse, there likely will be whores "at the job"... It's way better than the Soap opera "we have sex in underwear" approach that is really annoying the shit out of me.
Either you show "sex" which means naked bodies (not the intercourse itself)
or you just cut out of the scene when they start going at it...
Spartacus is on a whole other level and was really weird...

I dont undestand what all the bitching is about. Best writing as yet imo, nothing felt rushed as usually does (except the part that grrm didnt even write). Ending didnt have cliffhanger, but so what?

I was a bit disappointed of the fight Jon had with Othor, in the book he barely wins and burns his swordhand severely.
I like however how the dogs are coming more and more into play, the first couple of episodes we didn't even get a glimpse of Ghost, at least now we see him. Can't blame them for not making them bigger tho, I wouldn't like for some failed CGI dog to play that role.

He seems to do a pretty good job at making everyone hate him so fair play!
He is actually in College with my friends gf in Dublin. I'm pretty sure he has dropped out now with the show and all though.

I'm pretty sure he's dead, alot of people died that day and I don't think they would have spared the water dancer, though if he is still alive that would definitely be a story...beating people with wooden sticks is epic

I think the sex scenes serve to show the grittiness of the world we're being introduced to. I never thought the sex scenes were excessive but then again I've been desensitized to it by years of porn.

Sex scenes are just as much part of the whole thing as violent scenes or dialoge scenes. Cant see anything bad about them, its not like its porn lol.
Maybe it means that you cant show the series to minors, but the violent stuff is more problematic in that regard.

I dunno, they weren't interested in him at all until he wouldnt' gtfo. And he could have killed everyone in the room, which means noone would know that he was an enemy in the first place and no need to go after him.
Or he could have escaped in any other amount of ways -- the guy's a fucking badass. I for one think he survived... I really hope he does. He'll meet Arya one day again, and she'll be a baller with the sword.
As soon as Arya escaped, first thing I thought was 'she's going to get into the forest. She'll get into trouble, and her wolf will come save her.'
It's going to happen. Or something similar. =P
As for the nudity...
I remember Day9 talking about the show, and how he saidh e reccomended it to his mom not knowing what it was, only to be horrified at the nudity at every turn.
I saw Spartacus like a month ago and was expecting something similar, but its relatively very very tame. Only one penis that I can remember, and the only vagina barley counted. People are such prudes =P
