9th episode always been a pinnacle of the serie. (Ned execution, battle of Black Water, Red Wedding) So I think we can except MUCH more then something on the wall.

Relax. I'm just trolling.

Said closeby wildling army reaching said wall seems pretty pinnacle to me.

Better than the original. *nods*

only episode 9 is airing this weekend (despite what the guy said in the previous page). However, the finale (ep 10 in a week and a few days) is going to be 66 minutes, apparently the longest episode in GoT history.

I don't think there is any way to survive those wounds without a blood transfusion. Even with that there is a definite possibility that one or more vital organs have been irreparably damaged. I think it is safe to assume that the medical knowledge of Westeros does not include blood transfusion and organ transplants. That means the only way for the mountain to survive would be some kind of magical means or the writers throw realism away because its just a book/TV show and just say he happened to recover.

Storytelling-wise, I think they would have had him stand up after killing Oberyn if they wanted to show he survived, not fall back to the ground. The way it was depicted, I think he just made one last move while dying. He's still the winner because Oberyn died first. I have no idea what happens next, but that's the way I saw the scene.

OT: But Pedro Pascal has been cast in Narcos

Technically speaking, what is Littlefinger currently Lord of? Does he have any claim on House Tully?

You can see why he was gracious with it and didn't want more.
