I caught a history background compilation on youtube narrated in character by the game of thrones actors. Probably some DVD extra.
Harrenhal is a giant castle close to the riverlands. It was built by the ironborn king, harren the black, 300 years ago. It could house "a million men" Basically it is so big that keeping a garrison there and operating it like any other castle will make you lose money.

Non of them, the best possible rulers are already on graveyard.

whos shireen and myrcella? (im guessing those are cersi's daughters?) have we even heard them speak?

Best possible scenario. America gives Westeros democracy.

Shireen is the Girl-Hound.

I know we've heard Myrcella talk to Sansa at the dinner table once...back in season 1 or 2. Shireen...not sure

Dany is a completely dumb spoiled brat with retarded views on what's good or bad so she would never be able to conquer Westeros totally and even less rule it. Stannis would be the best ruler by far. The first thing he would do is clean the court and behead alot of corrupted people, something the others (except for dany) would never do. The others would have problems of legitimacy so it won't be possible for them to unite Westeros. Stannis holds his promises and he would repay Bravoos, The only problem I see with him is his successor, he doesn't have one and probably won't have one so in the long run the situation could get worse if he becomes king.

Littlefinger is also "Lord Paramount of the Trident (Riverlands)". House Tully are no longer the Lords of Riverrun since the Red Wedding, Walder Frey is currently the Lord of Riverrun. Both Houses are thus under the rule of Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish.
The Lannisters gave Littlefinger Harrenhal because they think it's cursed (most owners die after holding Harrenhal), and it gave Littlefinger the "Lord" title. Hence he was able to marry Lysa Tully, and receive paramountship of the Riverlands.

Shireen is the daughter of Stannis (The girl who is teaching Davos how to read). Myrcella is the daughter of Cersei but she was shipped off by Tyrion to Dorne, so House Lannister could forge an Alliance with House Martell.

Thought she's called "Shareen"? She's called "Sharin" in the german books which pronounces the same way.

It's Shireen.

I think Daenerys wouldn't be that bad, as long as Ser Barristan and Ser Jorah are on her side. Oh wait, ...

Indeed, the ruler can't be good if he kills his own younger brother to claim the iron throne. Tywin fits perfectly, but all those crimes he made before...I can't symphatize him aswell.

I think Stannis and Dany both would've been good rulers at one point, but over time they've become too ego-driven and a bit bonkers.
Jon Snow is the ideal leader, but he's out of the equation for several reasons.
Realistically, Tommen is probably the best choice of the bunch. But that's only for as long as he doesn't get corrupted by all the influences that will latch on to him.

Ser Pounce for King of the 7 kingdoms and Lord Protector of the Realm.

Technically it was Littlefinger under Robert who brought the country into debt, which Tywin was okay with when a lot of the money was lent by him. But the mines have now emptied (unexpectedly, I assume) so he's SoL.
Is the thing about Littlefinger being named Lord Paramount of the Riverlands true? I could swear it was the creepy Twins guy who was in charge now (from the conversation between him and Bolton.)

Walder Frey is now lord of riverrun, but littlefinger is lord paramount (and lord of harrenhal)
