I dont think Mountain is dead

Arya laughing when she found out her Aunt was dead was so the reaction I would of had if I was her. Why does the hound assume he'll get much more than a pat on the back (lucky if it wasn't a knife) anyway? He walked Arya right up to the gates and is totally surrounded. He pretty much has 0 bargaining power now?

I just realized the irony in Tyrion asking Oberyn why he doesn't even wear a helmet into Oberyn losing the fight by getting himself knocked down on the head into having it crushed ....

Wow...for the first time, I think the series has lost a lot more than it gained. Yes, the episode was great and outcome may not be too surprising.
However, the plot will now lose(lost) 2 fine, entertaining characters (Oberyn and Tyrion) at the cost of the Mountain, who really is just a brute and I doubt will play much of an actual role going forward, given that the actor possess little to no actual acting talent.
Tyrion is smart and may be able to wiggle out of this given his execution, for some inexplicable reason, is at another date as opposed to immediately succeeding his champion's loss (which just makes sense). I suspect Martin has something up his sleeve, but I daresay, the show will lose a lot in entertainment value if both Tyrion and Oberyn are lost to the Mountain.

I hate characters who wear armor :< Characters like Bronn and Oberyn are more entertains me more.
I always thought Bronn was strong enough to fight with Mountain. im not so sure after this episode.

I may be crazy but Tyrion is safe. He wont die for sure (I think... I hope so lol).
I really hate Dany storyline why dont they kill her... Honestly even Joffrey was more amusing than her.

Would anyone be surprised at this point if nothing comes out of the Mountain (at least for a while) just because people want him to get fucked but we can't have nice things in GoT? Plus the guy playing him isn't really an actor so he will probably just go on and do Mountain stuff off screen. ~_~

If Dany is killed now then her entire storyline will have turned out to be an irrelevancy. I think she's safe until, at the very least, she makes it to Westeros, and that doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon.

God damnit. I hate this show and that means it's awesome. I was SO HAPPY when the mountain was on the ground. Oberyn was definitely my favorite character in the couple episodes we had of him. And now Tyrion might die. Dear lord.

god that episode... so good.. and such a strong end which just threw me through so many emotions. dont know what i really think right now.
i mean fuck the show, seriously. but so good.
some big things coming up i think. if tyrion really dies not many "cool" characters left to root for outside of arya :/
/edit ya would be surprised if the hounds wound doesnt play a bigger role in something now that it got mentioned again..

Sansa looked really weird in that new outfit. Reminded me of Maleficent for some reason, lol.

About all the cool characters being killed off. Remember that we are dealing with undead here as well. I'm pretty certain that at least one or more of the dead characters, or future dead characters, will come back to life as an undead and claim vengeance. It just fits with the story and would be really strange if it did not include some undead ressurection stuff.
|
Tyrion won't die. Every time we feel sure about something, we get a curve ball. It will happen again.
God damn I hate Sansa and Daneris or w/e her dumb name is.
|
Did it look like Sansa dyed her hair to anyone else? It looked a lot darker than usual?

Zombie oberynn strolling around, moaning 'brainssss' I can see this working after today's episode

Did Arya and Sansa meet up or what? I'll be fucking pissed if they leave or some shit without reuniting.

Yep, definitely dyed considering how red they made her hair in the last couple of episodes. + Show Spoiler [Youtube of her walking down stairs] +
...what's with the maleficent dress though!??

I must say the payoff on Sansa's arc was the most satisfying part of this season so far imo. Her acting (the character and the actress herself) was superb, where before i found her hit or miss, often even cringe-worthy. We also got to see a taught, restrained Baelish, which was a treat.
The scene between Tyrion and Jaime is one of those scenes that are the reason I love this show. It distills so much of the characters and the world into an intimate conversation between two people. For a series like this, it was exactly the right kind of philosophical.
