Haha, that was a great reference! Made my day, thank you :D

Nobody mentioning how much of a coward Theon is? First he burns children, then is portrayed as the biggest coward I've ever seen. Yes hope we get to see more chopping of Theon, he deserves to be mutilated even more.
Does anyone even have sympathy for this man?

Peter Dinklage acted the shit out of that scene. Brilliant.

Does anyone even have sympathy for this man? Yes, I do. I think the point with Theon is there are things no one deserves.

Does anyone even have sympathy for this man? I wouldn't exactly call him a coward. He got tortured, mutilated and brainwashed for a long time. He's a broken man, a mindless slave creature who doesn't even remember his old identity. Theon may have been a coward, Reek is what Ramsay made him.

The fight was really lame. How the fuck did the pirates with shields and swords lose to a stupid, half naked guy with knives in close quarters. They could have just put their shields together, push the defenders into a corner and slaughter them.
The second half of the episode was awesome tough.

The second half of the episode was awesome tough. Haha I kind of agree with that comment on the fight. It was a bit peculiar to say the least.

I didn't mind the fight because Ramsay is just scary and crazy. Fear can make you fight worse than you normally would and Ramsay is just a one scary motherfucker.
And I think they killed most of Ramsay's men in that fight, and left Ramsay more or less alone. My memory from that isn't that good though so I could be wrong.
|
I thought she was pretty much winning the fight, she was like let theon go and none of ur men will die, and then the ramsay instead of fighting was like just run from these dogs, i hope ramsay dies tho :/ i was totall expecting him to die in the mini sex scene

They're supposed to be ironborn, they're not scared of a half-naked bastard :D But I think in the end Asha did win the fight, but chose to retreat because she was disgusted by what had become of Theon. She left willfully more than she was chased by dogs. I hope, at least.

she should have killed theon first.
But i agree, she couldnt have ran from dogs, did you ever see anyone successfully run from a dog for 5-10 minutes? Because thats how long it would take to go to the beach.
|
well they would only have to run to the wall thing where they climbed up and get down the ropes, dogs cant follow u there also didnt she take like the most epic ironborn fighters??? and they kinda sucked ass...
|
Why would armored soldiers wielding swords run from dogs anyway? Just stab them in the face
|
Those must have been magic dogs. You get petrified when they bark toward you.
|
The entire part with Theon was really rushed. Like we skip instantly from the dogs being unleashed to the beach, there probably is some reasonable explanation of the turn of events. I guess they wanted to spend that time on the trial, which might just have been worth it. Still feels 5 more minutes on the failed rescue would have been alot better
|
my next curiosity is how will they get reek to play the part of theon when his sister will tell their kingdom he's dead or manipulated or w.e

Apparently the writer (of the script) wanted show Ramsay letting Yara and her remaining men escape to demoralize them and to spread the word about Theon. It wasn't really about the dogs. I guess the way the scene was cut was confusing.

Have to agree regarding the part with Theon.
The first "WTF" was the fact that a naked guy with knifes somehow managed to kill people in full leather armor with shields and swords.
Second "WTF" was the whole thing with letting the dogs out. Again, people with armor, shields and swords. And how in hell could they outrun the dogs.
With that said the trial was excellent.
