Earlier this season Roose told Ramsay that he needs him to capture Moat Cailin so his army might come to the North. If Yara went straight to the II, the rumours won't reach the Moat in time.
Ah yeah I see.

I hope Shae was only trying to help, maybe Varys asking her to stay. If she wasn't trying to help Tyrion then she's literally worst than Sansa

Well, Shae was definitely a bit jealous because of Tyrion actually spending time with Sansa.

Annoying as she is, she's just a little naive girl trapped in a horrible place with horrible people. Or at least she used to be before going to the Vale.

If he wins the war then he can pay back their iron throne debt with interest since they would have gave stannis the money to take the throne. They contradict what they said The only contradiction was changing their mind. They pointed out that Stannis had zero chance of winning anything right now, and was so far behind that it would take basically the modern day equivalent of a multi-billion dollar loan to make him a favorite to accomplish what he wanted. So they needed some major convincing of why they should risk that, since they could care less who "deserves" to have the throne. They spent forever explaining that without any money he couldn't possibly win, a fact that was only not even slightly in dispute but also was completely irrelevant because the help he was asking for from them was for money so it'd in no way impact whether or not they should help him. Euh, so if some farmer from westeros asks them if they wanna pay his campaign for the irone throne, it shouldn't impact their decision cause obviously he can't afford this without their help? Exactly. The point was why should the back HIS request, over any other potential candidate? They could care less if he was the "rightful" heir, they wanted the one who would most likely turn them a profit. It's not like Stannis had 80% of what he needed to win and was asking for the money to cover the last 20%. More like he had 20% and was asking them to bank roll 80%+ of what would be required. Stannis enforces the law and ensures that debts are paid. It's not a slogan like with the currently delinquent Lannisters. Stannis really does it - just look at Davos' hand. It's a pretty good argument. Particularly when made to a bank looking to protect itself from a large loss. It's a lot easier to chop off a smuggler's fingers than to win a kingdom. Just because he would pay back the debts if he won the throne doesn't mean he will win the throne, even with their money. He has 4,000 men against a somewhat-unified Iron Throne. It's not enough, and no matter how much money you throw at it you can't conjure soldiers even if you can buy plenty of ships and supplies.
Idk, that red lady seems pretty good at getting pregnant for a few bucks for her "church"

This is in general a good rule to follow. Twitch chat gives cancer.

Someone please comment on my theories:
I think we'll see at least 2 dead people at the trial by combat but no dead Tyrion.
Thought this was one of the best episodes of GoT period, up there with red wedding, black water and the good early ones with Sean Bean. I do though feel that people are focusing too much on Tyrion, although his scene was very strong and the acting perfect there were loads of other good scenes as well. The scenes with Reek&Ramsey were amazing as well. those guys do really impressive jobs. In addition to that, we had an interesting discussion with Davos, Stannis & the iron bank where they say that if Tywin is gone, everything basically will fall apart in King's landing. I don't think this discussion was a coincidence, it also appears to me that even though Tyrion is on trial, he seems fairly safe. The only people who want him dead are people of little importance with little power, I.E. Cersei, Merryn, Pycell. Whereas Tywin has an impressive list of people wanting him dead: Iron Bank, Stannis, Red Woman, Oberyn even Jaime if he decides to kill his father for wanting Tyrion dead.
Anyway, when we see the trial by combat, we're gonna get at least one twist, it could also be Varus&Shae having struck up an unlikely alliance somehow. I do not believe they would just turn their backs on Tyrion, so they're both just playing along because they know the result of the trial is a foregone conclusion. Another possible twist could be Jaime volunteering to fight for Tyrion, I just feel it is unlikely that Tyrion would actually choose him. The whole Yara vs Ramsey & Reek vs Theon thing is really really perplexing and it will be extremely funny to see how it works out. Will Martin go for the dark Reek betraying his sister ending to this tale or will he go for the more fairy tale like ending with Reek becoming Theon once again. Personally, I don't think it will be either black or white as I just wrote it down, it will be grey and there will be twists, just like the GoT we all love.
I'm also extremely perplexed as to what the hell is going on in Tywin's head. Is he punishing Tyrion to make him strong and to be able to be the brains/hand of the kingdom or is this wishful thinking on my part? Or is he an extremely intelligent man but slightly biggoted and wants Tyrion to go to the wall, so he can survive but not sully the family name and not reproduce? I really really am not sure of this because the way they potray Tywin, he has both sides to his personality, he could basically go either way..........GoT is very well directed, very well written & the acting. The acting by Tywin is beautiful because you never really know where he's at, does he utterly despise his own child or does he see potential in him? I think it's both, so it can go either way.........anyone else care to share thoughts on this?

Yara - I always thought, Theon's sister had a different name, which would be "Asha". Is that just a translation thing (read the books in german), or what? I remember she was called Asha before.

She is called Asha in the books (Yes a terrible bookspoiler), but was renamend into Yara for the TV show. Probably because the wildling woman that was travelling with Bran (and now Rickon) is called Osha and it might have been confusing for some viewers because the names are so similar.
