On the other hand, I must say, the promos throughout the last 4 to 5 episodes of season four kind of did their thing in hyp'ing me to the maximum.

Pretty sure that the cop Debra went to the shop with to interview the Venezuelan guy is somehow related to the cult murders. The four guys in the car was Jonah (Trinity Killer's son) and friends. I think the implication is that Jonah sees the witness and Dexter chasing after her, right after Quinn shows up and has Jonah ID Kyle Butler as Dexter. If this season really is to be the last, looks like Dexter is getting ousted as the killer.
IF you pause the scene, jonah is nowhere to be seen in the car, and the shirt he is wearing when quinn sees him is green, i dont see any green shirts in behind the other few guys, if you were thinking maybe he was behind one of them.

they do this for a lot of other tv shows too. a notable one i've been watching recently is Hell's Kitchen, where he'll be yelling and it'll show the reaction of another chef who he wasn't yelling at or something. it always makes it seem like those chefs will be eliminated in the next episode (but it's never them).
the most recent Dexter preview makes it look like Julia Stiles fires the gun, but they just change the lighting of the entire shot right at the end. more likely someone stops her from behind or the side, either Dexter or some rapist that recognizes her.

lol i watch hells kitchen too and you know what they always do in the previews? they make it look like theres an emergency with firetrucks and ambulances, then it turns out they're just cooking for the firefighters and cops -_-

On the letter she got from her mother, it said something alluding to the fact that she made a decision and was no longer at home, which could obviously mean she was a prostitute. I have a strong feeling Dexter is going to be involved in the murder of people SHE feels should be murdered, and it will turn out she's using him.
Or her name "Lumen" is very similar to "Illuminate" and she is going to be a big eye opener for Dexter this season. Would really like the second of my assumptions to be true.
Also think that Deb and Quinn are going to get much closer, but he is going to get much "closer" to dexter, and will have to be killed like doakes, even though it will destroy Deb (again).

I guess it ends up Harry was right after all, as he almost always is. I think he represent the true Dexter, the dexter Dexter should listen to. I hope this Lumen chick just uses Dexter for her gains, would be an eye opener he deserves.

Great episode. I can sort of see where it's going from here but I think it's a cool direction. Should be very interesting.

Season five is still good. But without Rita, the show's tone is so much darker and not as much fun.

I think Lumen wants to use Dexter. I don't believe there were others. If she's lying I hope Dexter will see that soon enough 'cause I don't want 8 episodes of events based on Dexter believing her lies.

Some people may consider this as recycling of the old storylines (Quin is already well known as Doakes #2, Lumen seems to be sort of like Prado/Lila).

I'm guessing that Lumen will send dexter in the right way, finding loads of more trafficking people. Filling up his time even more, making him miss more time with his son.
