EPTQuinn is a thousand times better than Doakes. The latter was saddled with ridiculous tough-guy dialogue, a sociopathic personality, and one of the worst actors ever seen on television. Quinn is just a regular guy & semi-corrupt cop who happens to have an inkling that Dexter is more than he appears.

Honestly it would be extremely difficult for dexter to work as a show if he had to be a full time dad for 2 kids and a baby. I don't see how he could do anything without some major plot holes. | ||

Latest episode was pretty funny. that being said + Show Spoiler + for the first 2 episodes while empathizing with dexter i thought that sending the kids away with grandparents while he cleans the mess up and gets a new place is a very logical step from a RL perspective. Not that i have step-kids but i think if i did and my wife got killed thats what i would do:D | ||

I'm not sure how I feel about the Astor and Cody situation, personally I was never a fan of them as an obstacle in Dexter's way and without Rita I really do just want them to go away. | ||

It just proved to Dexter, yet again, that he cannot live a normal life. He got married, and his wife's femoral artery was sliced in a bathtub. He had two kids, and they left him because he couldn't protect their mother. Dexter really should be as isolated from everybody as possible. It will show him that Harry was right. | ||

Getting rid of the kids was a great start, it was clear to me at least that they weren't pulling off their role's effectively, every time Astor would whine I couldn't help but cringe in RL, quite a shame really. Contrary to what others believe, I love the pace of this season, you can almost feel Dexter's bewilderment about everything, that's exactly how the show feels right now, perfect! Calling it now, Deb kills Quinn, accidentally I may add. Quinn won't be able to help him self and will venture off trying to find out who the "real" Dexter Morgan is. Skip to the clincher episode, Quinn and Dexter battling it out, Deb walks in to save the day. Queue season 6! | ||

Also, when Dex and Deb were talking on the balcony, I had this fucking SICK feeling that they were going to start kissing or something. It's probably because they're married in real life, but the whole scene seemed so intimate... eck! | ||

Quinn was hilarious when he pretended him and Deb to be a couple when Deb was checking the apartment for Dexter I don't care about Maria but I do care about Angel, so yeah. I think Angel deserves a hotter wife. | ||
