2) i dont think deb will allow dexter to do his thing (both becoming vagilante) 3) i dont think incest (though not blood related) will be happening especially after deb found dexter's secret i wonder what will happen o.O 1) deb arrests dexter after dexter couldnt resist his dark passenger 2) deb gets killed by someone and dexter once again goes on rampage 3) the captain lady tracks down on dexter and deb does something regrettable to save her brother i'm looking forward to this season if i remember dexter kills a person almost every episode...but now he cant/wont ![]()

I gotta say, I think people would have that same general complaint almost regardless of how the scenes were handled... it's actually inherent to such a situation. I could be wrong, but I don't think people were doing to be satisfied with those scenes no matter what. They had a long time to try to find a believable dialog between Dex/Deb when she finds out. They did a terrible job at it. Add ontop of it that Jennifer is far from a great actress, the scenes very devastatingly bad it even made MCH look like a terrible actor. If they couldn't come up with better scenes, they really shouldn't have let Deb find out(but I most certainly think they could've made her find out, made it believable and created a decent story arc for it). But even without the atrocity that was the start of the episode, the rest wasn't much better. I just get taken back to Dark Knight Rises + Show Spoiler + where Bane gets depicted like a total badass all through the movie and then gets neutered and thrown away like garbage

We saw Dexter express rage, sorrow, and sadness all in one sitting. Something that he has not done in the entire series.

The fact that Travis had his own dark passenger I thought was amazing, I didn't figure it out until the episode right before it. I also enjoyed the return of his brother as the embodiment of his dark passenger when he's not following the code. Season 6 to me was very rich with subtleties that make Dexter such a compelling show. I just went back and watched seasons 1-3, and man season 3 (the one with Jimmy Smits), now that was a terrible season. Really? I mean, 1,2,3, and 4 didn't get you into the show but season 6 did? I'm sorry, but that's insane. I mean, yeah, 3 was kind of out there, but season one with the Brian twist, the suspense of Doakes closing in on Dexter and the internal struggle that created. I mean, Dex was ready to turn himself in until that crazy bitch blew Doakes to hell! And Rita at the end of season 4!!?!?!?! Season 6 was by no means as bad as season 5, but I found it very predictable as far as the season's twist.

In season 1 Dexter learns about his past, encounters his brother, and kills him over Deb. In season 2, Dexter is on the verge of being caught and Doakes meets his end, tying up all loose ends from season 1. Season 3, 4, 5, and 6 are just "random encounters" and fillers that have barley any lasting consequences outside of their respective seasons except for Rita dying, but that was just random and pointless in my opinion. Now, in season 7, Dexter is back on track and the main storyline continues with Deb finding out about Dexter. wel im glad they didn't since season 4 is my fav and the most popular by most people along with season 1...

The acting with trinity killer was top notch, dude was SO disturbed it was crazy, and the finale totally fucked my head up and made me sad lol. Season 5 was great, i was kinda pissed about rita but glad at the same time and his new girl Lumen was much much better, i got sad when she left at the end. Season 6 was kinda meh, i only got excited when deb found out at the end of the season, i hope season 7 stays as good as its been so far and that he reunites with Lumen for some reason their chemistry worked so so gooood in season 5. My two cents ![]()

Season 5 on the other hand was kind of boring, i had no interest for Lumen, the character was not really interesting, the plot wasnt interesting either. The "opponent" wasnt appealing either... I guess that comes down to taste :D

i waited since S01E01 that police will hunt him for some episodes at a time, that was so obvious that i got bored fast when that happened. and i dont really like the characters. nice plot, but too few fresh ideas, just the common rubbish between people. changed after S02 perhaps, dont know, even if it did it was too late for me. didnt like the development and progression of the characters, too. all so weird. cool guys die, freaks stay. but well.. if you like it, why not.

Isn't that like most shows though? It's always cool guys die and annoying ones stay.

Smits didn't play him well, but his character was an interesting topic for Dexter to explore, because it made him truly realize that he was alone in this world with what he wanted to do, and that no one could be trusted. How can you say that? This is pretty much the best scene in all of Dexter: I'd love for you to show a more passionate, aggressive scene in the series, not only anger and rage but overbearing prowess and dominance. Look at Dexter shrivel like a coward - no other character has come this close to making him wet his pants like the newborn puppy that he is in comparison to Miguel.

Same clip a few seconds later (skip to 1:18): Miguel doesn't bother Dexter at all. He doesn't lose his composure or anything. Miguel just reassures Dexter that it's time to kill him. Aggressive people have never troubled Dexter. Smart killers who unpredictably outwit Dexter worry him more than anyone.

So they finally killed off the geek guy. He was getting annoying as hell, but I was still expecting some kind of showdown between him and Dexter. Just seems a bit sudden to me considering how much air time he got the past season and this one.
