Doakes feels so long ago... and I can't even remember the last time they mentioned him. You almost start to forget that anything happened before the fourth season. Although they did bring back Dexters brother for that one episode, which was probably a good idea, in a way, since it reminded the viewer that hey, remember those early seasons? Those are still important, maybe. I'm just excited that something big has happened. The show was starting to get a sort of sit com feel to it, after the way season 5 just sort of neatly tidied itself up. This way we're finally going to start seeing the plot of "Dexter" resolve. Should be interesting. | ||

the cliff hangers about the ice truck killer and debora seeing dexter are really good. but i really hate the part about debora being in love with dexter. it's just so weird, makes me want to puke!!! i hope they won't continue it in the next season. although they're not biologically related, it's still weird... it's better to keep it platonic, it's been that way since season 1, just build up quin-debora again than debora-dexter. and i like this line with dexter's gestures: "i'm a father, a son, and a serial killer" hehe | ||
