This season has potential to be good. I hope it doesn't disappoint. I'm glad they're back on dexter finding out new things about him self and learning trying to figure what to do about aspects of life he has no idea about.

That or she already knows the connection and is playing the long con or something. Or maybe she's just nuts o_O They might just pull a "long-lost sister" thing. Either way she's probably more than a fan, maybe she had some kind of relationship with him.

The bad guys seem boring and by episode 3 there still has been no connection between Dexter and the Badguys. It just feels like a bunch of "the life of Dexter" eps, it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. By this point we know the routine and it's doubtfull they are going to turn it up it's head and suprise us. I liked the scene where dexter dropped his slides and obsessed over them but it just feels cheap without a proper build up. What do we have that makes us as the audience accept that Dexter is suddenly in inner turmoil? Nothing ground breaking enough to cause him to feel drifting. It just feels forced. At this point i really feel that Dexter has been going on for too long. I felt last season would be a good time to have wrapped it all up. Last season allready felt like "one too many" and this one feels even worse. Maybe if Micaell C Hall's salary negotiations fall through we could see Dexter end. But imagine if the deal does work out and he gets signed for another 2 seasons. Do we really want a Dexter season 8?

The tooth fairy conversation was the build up I think. Something to do with the life of a serial killer being fragile(hence the broken glass slide?).

What made Dexter choose that particular retirement community? There are so many in Miami, it would be highly inefficient to troll them all looking for "someone from Oregon." I know the show has had some gaping plot holes in the past, but this goes too far. What did I miss? I have to agree that this episode seemed rather lackluster. Come on, what's up with the horse stuff in the end? How would anyone be able to pull off stuff like that? Putting 3 corpses on 3 war horses and lead them down a crowded street completely unnoticed? Teh fuck?

I did notice when they took the body of tooth fairy out it was obviously a dummy. They could have at least bulked it up with a pillow or something, as he did have a gut on him.

Im assuming the case is being handled by the same forensic team that wrote off a girls death as suicide whilst also noting in the autopsy that she had blood under her nails that wasn't her own.

I don't know I love the day in the life of the serial killer Dexter Morgan. I'm not watching because of implausible story arcs and plots- I'm watching because I like Dexter. These episodes are ok ^^ On October 17 2011 20:48 Stimp wrote: did anyone else notice the dead body's leg move while they were turning it over? But yeah, I noticed that too :p Nice way to start the episode lol. Overall I'm highly pissed at how quickly that episode was over. I want it to be Sunday already. Or just skip watching the season until it's over like S5.

At first I was thinking it was a new girl for Angel, but it appears they are finally throwing some action in Mazuka's direction. Also, the new character to the show "The Shepherd" seems to be on the good side now. Do you think he'll end up on Dex's table like in season's 1-4 or will he walk away never to be seen or heard from again like Lumen in season 5? Called it! Go Mazuka! I agree with the idea that Mazuka's assistant may turn out to be a long lost sister, or ex girlfriend of Brian/Rudy or something similar. I'm hoping this is not that case.

I found Rita to be way more annoying then Lumen tbh. i actually found her to be one of the more likable characters of the show
