I mean the bad guys nuked the Cant, they blew up the Donnager too and then they obtained their own ship to do some adventuring. I felt the pace lagging only at the second half of the season myself.

I hope that Mars squad will be gone asap though. What a bunch of whiny, annoying people.

She sort of controls the protomolecule? Errr.... BOOKSPOILERS?!! Not sure enough people care? I read the books, so it's all good imho, but this is technically the TV thread. Should probably have the same rule as for the Walking Dead, where comic spoilers go in spoiler tags. OT: enjoying season 2 so far. Gravity on Eros seemed a bit wonky. Those bombs shouldn't have weighed anything, so Miller acting as if they were hard to lift was weird: if anything, he should be struggling to keep them from floating away due to centripetal force (which they seemed to get sorta right when the kid left him). In general they have gotten weightlessness wrong quite a bit, but it's not something that bothers me too much.

E.g. they think that kilograms are a unit of force, not mass or that "two and a half square meters" makes for an impressive office in Fred Johnson's case. ![]() I thought that they did the 2 1/2 square meters was on purpose, to show how expensive living space is in space. That he had such a large office, and it was actually tiny. But you could be right, and it was a gaff.

It was on purpose, but they still must've gotten confused by the metric system, as 2.5 square meters is not nearly enough to fit in four people and a desk, and still have spare room to pace the office. Maybe if they made it bedroom size, say, 6-12 square meters.

Maybe if they made it bedroom size, say, 6-12 square meters. 2.5 sqm isn't enough space to pace period. So I guess you're right. Whether it's due to the metric system or simply due to inconsistency in their wanting to make it really tiny but also wanting to show Fred's worry with him pacing, I don't know. 6sqm would have been better. 12sqm seems like a legitimately large office ![]() But let's face it, the books are good, but not very well written. It's mostly the colorful characters and great workshop and plot that keeps me reading. The prose is passable... and at times gets in the way of the good story (Julie Mao in the first book, + Show Spoiler + Deus ex Miller in later books

I was just confused how it did end up there, as she kept refusing to or cant change course. SO i guess after embracing her and kissing she was able to change it.

+ Show Spoiler + Was that a humanoid protomolecule that attacked? The UN marines were shooting at it and running away from it towards the martian line? The ships looked metallic, though, confusing ending. Is Chrisjen trying to manipulate Errinwright to turn on Mao?

I'd at least feel threatened as fuck if i was errinwright, that's for sure threatened, and slightly turned on
