Sasuke could've used a nicer genjutsu for Sakura, but then again, she is an annoyance.

Even after all these years they're still fighting over non-nonsensical shit. You'd think they'd grow out of their god complexes but apparently gaining god-like powers slows that process. I, for one, wouldn't want either of them as Hokage. They're both shitty, irrational leaders. Tsunde should keep on being the leader and then maybe if those two faggots ever mature they'll become Hokage worthy.

I can see that in Sasuke, but I don't think you can leverage irrational and immature at Naruto at this point. Sasuke's the one who started this fight, and because of his power there's not much Naruto can do about it but fight him again. At the beginning of this chapter alone, you see Naruto trying to reason with Sasuke, that a fight isn't necessary. Compared to their first fight, it's for entirely different reasons, both characters have arced considerably. It's easy to see them fighting again, point and go omg these idiots are fighting again, but you have to look at what's actually going on. I could make a similarly cynical commentary on contemporary politics, but it would be idiotic, willfully ignorant even.

I don't see much of the irrational part you're thinking of here. They have plans which probably wouldn't work 100% the way they want it to, but they make perfect sense. Since all of the nations have united (at least for now), Naruto believes that everyone can continually keep the peace, and that the tailed beasts, if they're now friendly, will no longer be used for war or anything like that. Sure it's possible that someone in the near future someone who's a dick fucks everything up, but it's still not bad. It's very idealistic, and Naruto is a character who believes in the inherent good of people. Sasuke, on the other hand, believes that somewhere down the line someone's gonna fuck shit up, and would rather nip anyone like that in the bud. Sasuke's idea is much closer to a dictatorship. He'll be the ruler and make everything be peaceful out of fear. Most people probably won't like it or like him, but he believes that it's what's best. Neither of these ideas seem irrational. They don't seem fully fleshed-out, but they're like 16 years old or something. And claiming Tsunade is better is the dumbest thing ever, as she really does not do much.

Naruto had some growth, sure. He became more emotionally stable and behaved more mature with his peers(when Sakura pretended to love him, for example). But he shows a buddha like peaceful attitude outside of fights, yet is very keen on getting violent in conflicts until he can spill his lifestory, once again, at the villain(talk no jutsu). On the other hand, Sasuke might as well have spent 3 years sitting in a cave listening to emo rock("craaaawling in my skiiiin. these woouunds they will not heeaal") and read some books about communism. Sakura. Let's not talk about her. All she ever improved was her opinion about Naruto. Having a better opinion for the main character is not the same as growing up. And for fffff...something's sake. They went, from a battlefield -of which I can't remember the location- to the valley of the end just to have a battle at that place? Naruto must have had real fun last time when he got almost killed by the person he tried to rescue. I would be so happy to return to the place of my most disastrous defeat. Don't apply revenge here, Naruto is supposed to be beyond those low feelings.

Let's take a look at Hashirama. How did he change the world? He brokered a peace treaty and waited for others to follow his example. He convinced other people, he didn't force them. He ruled because he was ELECTED and he only fought against Madra because he was forced to. This is what we call a good role model. Naruto and Sasuke on the other hand have a ridiculously hamfisted approach. I am your god and my word is the word of law. If you don't follow me I'll force you to because it is for your own good. This is Hitler territory. It's an incredibly slippery slope. Even if Naruto is all about kindness and love don't expect that shit to last when people start rebelling against him. Neither of them would make a good leader. Both of them should probably die or leave this world forever and stop the whole cycle from starting over once again.

Though I didn't like much talk and wanted straight action, chapter was fine and is basically two ideology that want a similar end outcome going head to head. Obviously, Naruto will win, not kill Sasuke and they'll go back to being friends though this better be epic seeing as it's likely the final fight!
