That's gonna be the most predictable chain of events.

We get a lot hype, flashbacks, etc. Gai goes out in the flames of glory - Madara barely touched but he is stalled long enough for the next incoming twist.

Opening 8 gates is basically godmode though

I hope Kish doesn't screw Gai over, Gai better be able to overpower Madara for a brief while or at least go toe-to-toe with him for awhile

And meanwhile Sasuke and Naruto are being revived... and Naruto can go SoSP mode now that he has bits of all 9 tailed beasts, and Sasuke is fairly OP at this moment as well becuase he combines Uchiha, Uzamaki (Karin) and Sage powers.

I also think that having Uzamaki body is more important than Uchiha eyes with regards to being a jinchuruuki.

It's been said repeatedly that opening all 8 gates makes you die after.

They'll probably do some crazy loophole to keep him alive like using Kamui or some random other technique to "close" the gates just before he dies to save him.
