Well, in the end, it can do it without Kyuubi and Hachibi, it just takes longer than an instant bloom. Like before, if I recall correctly. Or am I reading it wrong?
From what I read, Madara is meaning to stop Obito and take his place. But I don't think he's ever been interested in the Infinite Tsuyokimi thing. I think his intentions is to obtain the fruit, or all the power to become god status. From his story, it seems like taking chakra from everyone and concentrating it or perhaps destroying would lessen all the bad things in the world.
Yeah, I predict Obito will get weakened by Naruto and friends first, then madara will slip in at the last moment to complete the ritual. Everyone is under the spell, but as everyone is dreaming, kakashi is back and is rescuing everyone one by one. They then proceed to fight madara and after some struggle, obito realizes naruto is right and banishes madara to another realm. obito dies and a few years of peace later we see madara back.

Karin is there, not expecting any more people to die. I think Shikamaru is probably going to become hokage, with Naruto becoming more like Jiraya and just walking around, so I'm a little biased when I say that I don't think at least Shikamaru will die.
Shikamaru will not die, it lacks some flashbacks to the best Shikamaru's actions and a Naruto speech about how he's not dead because he lives in his heart.
For a split second i thought the Susano'o was Madara and got real hyped but still cool. So is Madara fighting Hashi to try and get more cells or what? He started making the same black bars that Nagato used so is he planning to take control of hashi's body?

Calling it.
Madara already did it, I think it's a given Naruto and Sasuke will do it too.

Nine tails is going to change into an ultimate humanoid form, giving Naruto a suit of armor too. And then the two will do a fusion ha to become Omnimon in which it's sword will be given to Imperialdramon to make it into Imperialdramon fighter mode.
Madara has to have something else up his sleeve, I'm calling it. There's no way his trump card is "I'll just swap places with Obito!" especially seeing as how he told Hashirama about the time limit, the importance of the 8/9 tails, and what he plans to do, all while knowing this information would be shared with the rest of the Alliance.
If Orochimaru/Sasuke have any ulterior motives we're likely to find out about them soon, though Sasuke seems pretty legit thus far; he's saved Naruto several times already. Poor Hinata though, she saves Naruto and basically gets a thank you, Sasuke saves Naruto and the entire Alliance gets a shared flashback/romantic monologue about how Naruto's gay for Sasuke.
I still think it's only going to end after either Obito or Madara pulls a Darth Vader and saves the world in a self sacrificial manner. I'd rather have it be Madara because I think his arc from good to evil is much more tragic and interesting, but it's been pretty well set up for Obito already. He's clearly conflicted; Naruto represents his good past self and so he's obsessing over it, trying to break him in order to validate his own fall. I'm still thinking an edo-tensei Rin is in the works, but Naruto talk-no-jutsu seems much more likely given the manga's history.
Also, I hope Kishimoto doesn't try to do too much with the Gokage now that they are back. They are just so impotent compared to the players on the field right now, and I don't want chapters crowded with page after page of 10 different characters stating their resolve and how it's their duty to save the world blah blah. Madara could have killed all 5 of them and I honestly wouldn't have cared. (Well, except Gaara...and maaaaybe Tsunade.)
Wow, I really liked the whole concept of Naruto's emotions being shared with the entire alliance as he thinks over the events in his life that he regrets. Sarutobi getting sad when he realizes that his son is dead, and Orochimaru/Tsunade thinking about Jiraiya, and Sasuke knowing that Naruto thinks about Itachi, and Naruto's classmates knowing how he felt back when he was an outcast. Powerful stuff.
The climax was a little stale though. In the end, Naruto decided to fight? Obviously lol.

This.
Tsunade will have to die/retire for Naruto to become hokage, though. And Naruto will become hokage.
Also, I predict Kakashi will show up out of nowhere and take out Obito. There's no chance that the last time we saw Kakashi was the end that Kishimoto has in mind.
Tsunade is definetly retiring after the war. Her regeneration technique cuts into her own life, and she was old to begin with. She has regened from deadly wound several times against Madara (and before when teleporting into battle).
I´m kind of disappointed Sasuke needed the ninetails chakra to fight the god-tree. He used talk-no-jutsu to convince Naruto to get back into the fight too though, but still.
