Oda makes around 20 Million $ annually, Although Naruto is nowhere near One Piece in Volume sales ( 23 million vs 6 million in 2012) Naruto is still pretty popular and he makes shit ton of money from merchandise and Video Games and shit. He is probably very well off by now and if the series goes for another 5 years he could easily retire.

Naruto has sucked for quite a while now. It started to go downhill after the Hidan and Kakuzu arc for me. Pein was alright, but afterwards, it was pretty much asspull after asspull. The whole thing with Obito doing all of this just to be with his dead girlfriend from so many years ago is so childish and stupid that I get sick after a while. Maybe Obito is a representation of Kishi, and the entire manga is a message to some girl that denied him years ago.

I feel like I'm rereading the last few chapters of FMA...
If the trend continues, the tailed beasts will escape and Obito will have a *really* hard time holding onto the ten tails, and Madara's "trump card" will be his own undoing (I'm thinking an unintended side effect like when Pride was forced to open Mustang's gate).

Even if the ending of FMA got a little out of hand, I would say it was leagues better than Naruto currently is

Keep in mind this manga is aimed towards 12 years old kid. I'm not sure what you were expecting from a shounen, especially naruto.

Huh? Naruto has been right behind One piece in sells for the longest of time and still is. The manga has never been high quality to begin with ever since the timeskip, but it will keep selling because because they have had their fanbase established for a long time.

It is just sad. Naruto was so good because it was not like DB where every new boss was stronger than the one before, it was about tactics and how to use your skill. And at the end he throws in Madara who´s an absolutely overpowered badass, 10 Mio. times more powerful than any character who´s ever been in this manga. And now Obito/Juubi who is even more powerful and more evil etc. etc., that is so lame, it´s a shame. I will read it until the end, but it´s just sad how bad it has become.
