Exactly. I'm really disappointed by the lack of character developement and those fights where nothing but super extremly harcore rare jutsu occure. I'm quite sad to say this but I stopped watching the series long ago and I'm totally fine with it and now I'm on the edge of giving up the manga. A tear comes to my eye when I think of the time when I saw the first 130 episodes and creamed myself every second because it was just so awesome.
Maybe that's the reason why I now prefer Cowboy Bebop and Welcome to the NHK over Naruto... they have an END.

gaara's strategy / calculations felt so fake when i read it. back in the day when naruto and shikamaru did theres it felt so real and impressive but this is bleh

Maybe it's just me, but I thought the Mizukage's ability was kinda hard to understand at first. I just found it confusing with the hail and the gold and why he didn't expand. I felt that if you really need to explain the strategy in that much detail, it was just too complex to begin with. It's great that Gaara thought it all out and that he's a "golden egg" now, but still it's blah.

This whole arc just kinda sucks :\ Naruto actually just became an interesting character, and now they completely ignore him for characters that I don't really give a crap about. Just end it already.

I don't understand what is there to complain about with THIS particular chapter, I'm not a big fan of the arc with the imba shinobi and all but that premise was all established by now, we bitched before (ie when they introduced all the jinkuri(sp) with the rinnegan and sharingan implanted), why bitch again, its not like the mizukage used any of the I'm immortal FFS bit from the Jitsu itself, and he died from what I would call a somewhat logical fight, yes there was some elaborate explaination but its sort of hard to differentiate speed, dust from sand, water from oil with a drawing, without any explaination........ ok maybe i am biased since i sort of liked the semi resurgence of gaara though i doubt he will get ANYMORE spot light at all.
the days of limitation (chakara, jitsu, strength, twist, reinforcement) are long gone, there's just no going back regardless of how much we preferred it the way it was. Though I haven't liked this arc much with the crazy bat shit that itachi pulled and once again he will undoubtly play a large part in taming the other 10000000 shinobis brought back to life, but in retrospect it wasn't that bad, the crow implanted on naruto was at least planned out properly and not necessarily pulled out of his ass last minute twist... the raikage, and mizukage died to some sort of "surprise/logic", which is miles better than the stupid brothers (with the talking, i don't rememer the name, not worth my time)
To be fair, the last few chapters featured alot of Naruto kicking ass (overpowering / thoughtout variety), having other kage fight was not that bad. When I saw Naruto seemingly come to the rescue this chapter I didn't think gaara would be able to win to be honest, but either way someone would be complaining i suppose.

It got me wondering, how useless is sage mode now? Ever since it came out I was all like HOLY OMG THATS SO COOL.

Another thing I hate about this stupid war with all of these random shinobi... is whenever they do a jutsu (and its going to be a NEW one, every single time), they have to explain it or we have no idea whats going on. So each battle takes forever, and seemingly not much happens at all throughout each fight. Think about it.

I know right?! When sage mode was first introduced I thought it was pretty badass and that he would be using for at least a little while, but as soon as he is done fighting Pain he pretty much stops using it unless you count a random ass episode in the anime.

I actually came to trash ( only a little bit i swear) on naruto but you guys are obviously dissapointed with the manga itself so im only gonna say that this endless thing is getting ridiculous, is like you guys just keep watching out of being use to do so instead of actually finding pleassure out of it...

I really hope it ends after this arc. However I'm afraid that it might drag on like Bleach did after the main story has been done... Naruto will lose his powers and become a space detective and proceed to catch em all or something along those lines. Just let Naruto kill Sasuke and become a Hokage and get the girl and gg. Some sort of carebear ending for Sasuke would probably be even worse than the story dragging on.
Bleach I'm just reading out of a habit now, Naruto I want to see what happens and One Piece is still going fairly strong and it's the only one of these three with a "setup" and world fit for +1000 chapters imo, even though the 2 years warp reduced the potential lenght of it quite a bit. Slight offtopic rant I guess.
