Naruto's mother came from the East, the whirlpool country (Uzumaki = whirlpool). Nagato came from the middle of the country, to the West of Fire Country, the rain country. EDIT: Therefore they were probably distant relatives | ||

In the flash backs of nagatos parents being killed did his parents have red hair too? i mean if he was a member of the uzumaki clan then his parents (or at least one) had to be too, right?
