Haha I think that's the least problem in Naruto. Kishimoto doesn't let any character die without him having a great story :D
The bigger problem is that he kills all the interesting characters.
Uchiha Itachi, the tragic hero: Dead
Hoshigaki Kisame, The Real Shinobi: Dead
Haku, the demon's pure servant: Dead
Zabuza, the converted monster: Dead
Nagato, the missguided saviour: Dead
Orochimaru, the great mastermind villain: Dead
And so on.
I'm really sad about Gai outliving Kisame. I had high hopes on Kisame to rip off Gai's head after he bit off his tongue, before dying. That was a bad trade, the epic shinobi dying for that clown of a fighter... Well, but in his dying breath Kisame became a more interesting character than 95% of those before him.
The fight of Konan versus Madara might, once again, make Konan a cool character just to kill her right afterwards. Damn. However, I hope Madara finally shows his face. It's becoming kinda annoying to have a masked mastermind and actually it's totally unimportant who he really is. Just show us already x_x

Orochimaru fused with Kabuto, both Nagato and Itachi were revived by Kabuto so technically, they aren't dead. I agree though that Haku was a huge waste as well as Kimimaro in my opinion.

konan can't stand up against madura... If she survives this i will be MIGHTILY iimpressed... that being said, i love all the fights with madura, they are all very interesting, so whether or not she dies, it will be an interesting few chapters

You're going to die Konan, but you'll go down with a bang and join the great league of Naruto characters that I love but were killed off. I really hope she dies though. It'll be sad if she's captured and mind-tortured by the imba-sharingan.

Orochimaru is dead for now, Kabuto is controlling those parts that he implanted into himself. He cannot act anymore.
Nagato and Itachi aren't characters anymore, only mindless zombie hulls used as fighting machines.
By the way I'ld love to see a scene similar to Kakashi meeting his father after dying, with Kisame and Itachi. There won't be one, but it would be interesting.
Kisame actively chose Itachi as his partner in Akatsuki (That's been stated explicitely by a translator in a forum who weekly publishes out some corrections on the mangastream translations) because he knew of Itachi murdering the Uchiha. In other words, he explicitly chose someone who made similar experiences like he made as he betrayed ninja from his village himself. Seems like even the ruthless Kisame searched for someone understanding him. Their stories are kinda similar in a way... betraying those close to them, ending up detested by everyone, witnessing a world full of lies.
Kisame even spent some of his last thoughts on Itachi:

They arnt alive, they are just reanimated. Orochimaru used the same technique on the 1st, 2nd, and 4th Hokage when he was fighting the 3rd Hokage. They are basically just puppets with their fate bound to the will of their "Master."

I wish Madara would go a bit more into detail about how he gave Nagato the Rinnegan and convinced him to make Akatsuki.

i was surprised she even did as much as she did to madara, i was wondering when she was gonna show again because i knew they wouldnt just introduce her then she would never fight (excluding what ever scuffle she had with jiriya )

Agree on #1 and #2, but this one isn't true. It's like saying "Shisui and Shodaime were still alive because they were Danzou's body". But the only one still having a mind and soul and having control over all these body parts was obviously Danzou. It's the exact same thing for Kabuto now who implanted some body parts of Orochimaru.
