I have read every chapter of Naruto so far.
I started to despise the thing after they killed off Tayuya but at least the plotline was still half way decent up to that point. The chuunin exam arc was so good that it kept me hoping that Kishimoto wasn't pissing his plot down the drain.
Well then part 2 came around and Naruto should have changed its title to Sasuke and stupid plot after stupid plot started to come around. Naruto didn't show much growth at all until he fought Pain (which was awesome).
By the time I didn't want to read anymore I was already on chapter 300. It takes me a whole 3 minutes of my day on thursday night, sometimes friday to read a chapter and keep up with it. It doesn't take much effort on my part at all to keep up with the story and at least see it to completion. That's all I care about now.
That and for once I want to see Sasuke get his ass kicked.

Because i hate sasuke and only him. It would be ok but he gets TOO MUCH friggin screentime. Srsly where are the good old characters like Shikamaru and Gaara. All we get is Sasuke Sasuke Sasuke and a little bit of Naruto and Sakura bitching around. I keep reading because the story is decent and has potential but Sasuke fucks it up every time, but to be fair, the way the shark guy died was beyond stupid too. The guys with potential are dying way too fast (shark guy+danzo in like 8 chapters?) Then who else left now? Sasuke FINALLY heads to konoha now?...

alright well i see alot of sasuke hate, which is fair because he is overpowered and i hate him too. But in my opinion if there is another time skip. this one will end with sasukes death. thats why its been all about him (or so it seems) he goes to konha battles happen things happen (vague ikr) but then naruto and sasuke fight at the valley of the kings again. after sasuke kicks the bucket tobi bounces out with his body. then time skip. we would still have two villans, tobi and wtf ever kabuto is up too.
i hope this is the case because sasuke would be dead, plus if he goes blind and like they didnt show him abusing as much as he did, half the fans would be like WTF HE DIDNT USE IT NEAR AS MUCH AS ITACHI

I said this like 50 pages ago and a bunch of Naruto fans screamed me down as a stupid hater who doesn't know what he's talking about. This was back when Sasuke ran in on the Meeting of the Kages and started pwning Raikage like it was nothing. It was nothing but an eye fest back then just like it is now... It's just lame at this point. Seems like the author is spewing a ton of the content he had in his head with no attempt at building story anymore because the plot has gotten AWFUL and the cool characters are stagnant as HELL. Gaara, Lee, Neji, Chouji, Shikamaru, Abarame Shino, I mean come on man. Wtf? He spent ages developing all these characters and now they seem to be frozen in time while Naruto and Sasuke are busy grabbing up legendary powers. Then, Naruto farms Akatsuki members while Sasuke farms Kages.
While we find out crazy stuff like the founders of the hidden villages, which should be like sacred mythical god-like figures by Naruto's generation, are just running around scheming and doing crap from behind the scenes. It's just dumb. Nobody makes schemes that come to fruition 7-8 generations later and expects them to work.

You know, it's nearly the same as with Dragon Ball, bounch of cool characters, but then in the end, only Goku and Vegeta could keep up but hell this is important : the other characters at least WERE AROUND and didn't completely disappear. Okay we at least get to see Lee and fucking Kiba (who cares about Kiba lol) but they're just running around and talking shit. What's with the gates Lee? What happens when you open all the secret gates in your body? That's what i want to know not the ultra-hyper-most hidden SHARINGAN eye technique. Who cares? I don't hate Naruto, the story itself but i srsly hope Kishimoto realizes this and pull himself together. I don't want to see an established ninja world through 500 chapters ruled by two 15 years old. (hi ichigo) But all this shit is my opinion only and thank god the story hasn't written by me because it would be no fucking mercy to Sasuke.

Naruto seems to be written a bit too much towards fanboys and fangirls...otherwise there would be more variation in who gets to be in the spotlight

It seems more to me like Kishimoto is a Sasuke/Naruto fanboy himself lolol. That's why he's writing it this way.
It sucks for me because I'm a die hard Rock Lee fanboy. When he was standing in a fighting pose unconscious that was it for me. Couldn't root for nobody else no more. Rock Lee is TRUTH.
