The way I see it, the tournament running to completion would please Zenoh. Unless that ever changes, my impression is that even all the angels can't touch him. Not to mention we still know nothing about his guards.
If I were a betting man, I would assume that Zenoh's guards are stronger than the grand priest.
My impression is:
1. Zenoh 2. Zenoh guards (but perhaps this order is switched) 3. Grand priest 4. Angels
And if so, even an angels alliance would not take down zenoh. And I'm still not even convinced of a angel coup because I don't think Whis would mind if our universe was destroyed either. I dunno. I just don't see who would have the capability to keep Zenoh from getting what he wants.

In the manga it's outright said that the Grand Priest is the strongest fighter in the multiverse. (This makes it questionable where Zeno ranks, but my interpretation would just be that he doesn't actually ever fight, he just erases what he doesn't like, and thus isn't considered a fighter.)

I mean really if Zenoh could erase Zamasu + a whole timeline on the spot, there's no reason he wouldn't be able to erase the angels and grand priest he probably created in the first place. So only a surprise attack from those could make sense, and only if the guards allowed it.
I also agree with other posters that basically in spite of the hype with the Ribriannes and Kales of this world, I only find Goku, Gohan, Freeza and Jiren really relevant. Hard to see other fighters stray away from what's expected from them.
Vegeta has quite a great intuitive grasp of fighting strategy, even if he isn't as strong as Goku. Of course he will be relevant - in the last episode for example he was the one who figured out how to quickly and simply dispatch the whole U9 brigade based on one quick fuckup. Goku caught on fast but it was Vegeta's strategy.

My thought is that, at the very least, Zenoh's guards would give him enough time erase anyone attacking him. I know the grand priest is said to be the strongest, but I can't help but wonder if Zenoh's guards aren't considered people and are more like golems of sorts.
Edit: I will, however, say that I think a post-tournament arc where Zenoh is assassinated would be really cool. I imagine a dynamic where everyone has agreed Zenoh needs to go, but there isn't a lot to say after that. In many ways, it would be as if all the American states fought for independence from the federal government and actually eliminated the federal government. Sure, all the universes tend to just do their own thing, but if the guy keeping everyone in check was suddenly gone, what then? Do stronger universes try to invade weaker ones? Are alliances formed to protect their own universes?
Watching Beerus and Champa team up on another GoD would make me swoon.
Zeno has absolutely no sense of scale. "Destroy the whole universe" is literally all he seems to understand. That is something that absolutely would breed resentment.
I could see Super going on a Mario/Link quest though. "Zen-Oh was kidnapped. We must save him." Then they arrive at the temple where he lives and he's not there. Have to go from universe to universe to search for him. And then they end up in another space time dimension.

Or something about Evil Super Shenron God Dragon.
Dragonball Super GT confirmed.
One thing that GT got very, very, very right, IMO, is the idea that dragon balls can be abused and that it isn't acceptable to just crank out resurrections all the time.

I get the feeling that it might not be Zeno they're trying to kill off, but rather that we have another Zamasu subplot here.
that is very interesting O_o i guess i didnt really think much of it the first time. Well that kinda explains his smirk outside of any angel plots, he probably just didnt care for how Sidra managed his universe (thoooo... it is the angels job to guide him).
I must say the role of god of destruction seems pretty flimsy, if its to eliminate "evil" they've all done a shitty job. If its to limit the number of worlds/population then that kinda is on the creators fault (zenoh?) as theres no god of creation just blatantly warping planets into existence. There doesnt seem to be a balance that they need to restore, especially beerus' way, which is to blow up whoever annoys him and then sleep a shit ton.
Damn. That was a good episode. Krillin really did his thing. They took out what? 3 fighters? That's more than I expected. Frost had to be acting on Freeza's orders to eliminate the U7 fighters using guerilla tactics. I have a feeling 18 is gonna abuse him before she gets knocked out. Next episode looks even better. Kale lets loose and female Broly is debuting! I'm stoked for next week!
