And then there are Piccolo and 17, who we have been made to believe to now suddenly be up there with super saiyajin again. | ||

I have to say that they are inconclusive. They got some plot elements of this episode right but they were kind of vague so meh. They got the episode name wrong for next time around but it might just have changed. I don't know how accurate they are at this point. | ||

No fighting, no nothing, but this was basically the equivalent of the best foreplay of your life. Think of the best pre-sex you've ever had and that's what this was for me. The dynamic between Frieza and Goku was done so well. The almost insatiable lust that Goku and Frieza feel for fighting each other is dripping from both of them the moment they see each other. They both have their own reasons for utterly loathing each other at their cores and truly have no issue fighting each other to the death. That alone is a really unique dynamic that has been lost on Vegeta. Frieza and Goku deeply hurting each other was a really cool touch that did a good job at reminding us what exactly the feelings between the two are. Frieza tortures and kills Krillin, tries to kill Earth twice and betrays Goku numerous times. Goku disgraces Frieza by defeating him each time after a life of galactic dominance. So then Frieza fucking just shoots the dude being a self important shit bag who wouldn't answer questions. This opens things up a lot. So first of all, we can assume that these people who were sent to kill Goku and Frieza were fighters of the respective universes which are the top tier of power, but barely ranked below everyone on the actual tournament team. I will not be surprised if numerous universes have fighters who can be 1-shotted by Vegeta. This episode really set up the whole ordeal as a blood bath. Frieza casually just fucking drops that sack of shit. I can only assume the next episode is a murder party for Frieza's birthday. God I love Frieza. | ||
