I think they all felt the weight of erasing universes, but after the first few, the shock is gone. Once the shock is gone, it settled in that it was a fight for survival and anyone they knocked off was just a casualty of that reality.

We know how this thing ends, but I'm still gonna watch it. We have an episode tomorrow, correct?

Rumor (fairly credible) has it that DBS is coming back in a year. Essentially after the movie finishes its run.

I'm curious who the new baddie turns out to be, but given that it takes place after the ToP, whoever it is is toast when Goku enters UI. I'm excited though, give me more. The movies tend to fly by, but the action is usually good.

Hm I read that the show that took over Supers time slot is going for a minimum of 50 episodes. Unless another show is going, I don't think Super is coming next year, although I hope i'm wrong.

That's a little more than a year. The April to July range is about when DBS is feasibly coming out as per predictions, which lines up quite well with "after the movie finishes its run."

Best movie is Legend of Broly DBZA followed closely by Bardock.

DB movies are the one thing I've almost always been disappointed in. Part of it is I saw all of DB and DBZ before any of them, and none of them have ever really fit into the timeline (pre BOG & ROF), and the other thing is I only really find Turles to be interesting among the villians.

The movies are definitely better if you take them as some light fan service rather than serious story telling. I definitely enjoyed the specials (both Barcdocks and Trunks) more than the actual movies, though. The movies really just provide brief power fantasy moments (Gogeta, Broly, Dragon Fist, etc).

Jiren is the one that killed his family. When the demon he has inside went out again and killed his master, his friends have up on him controlling it and that's why he has trust issues. That's also why he meditated.

The world of void is being filled with the destroyed universes and that's why there are now stars in the background in a world that should be void. This will free up the last wish to set up the new movie.

What are your theories?

I agree with both of these portions. As for the wish, I think U6 is too developed at this point to just straight up be gone forever. So that means either Zenoh restores it "so this tournament can happen again and again" or Goku gets the wish. I think it is very possible some universes never come back, such as U9.

My hope is that Goku isn't the one to get the final blow on Jiren. 17 is GOAT.
