Eh, at first I was really interested in this manhwa, kept eagerly following it for a while. The author made quite an interesting and complex system with the main character, but everything else seems a little bit shallow and doesn't offer as much interesting info. (Yes there is the black market auction house etc, and supposedly some powerful organizations, wow who would have guessed, but other than that...) Also, the manhwa artists lack of experience in drawing any action sequences shows off. Having to results into fan service even if it fits the mind of a high school boy isn't for me anymore when there could be so much more depth to be added otherwise.
I suppose a lot of these things won't matter much depending on the perspective, and the target audience is probably high school guys. I sounded harsh but it's still an ok manhwa, but there are just so many better IMO

Skill gained: Hyperbolic Time Chamber
|
Gaining a bachelor pad is much more important than a gimpy hyperbolic time chamber ratio.

If the author of this manhwa were to make an entire series of manhwa like this, each one with a different mc and different story and they take different paths like a rouge or warrior or monk, I would diligently read each and every instalment till the end. (Hopefully his writing, plot progression, and characters would get better along the way too.)

Yea it's insanely fun and colorful.
I've got a question, don't want to go digging, is the redhead in the Yon Hoon clan? Like the name from the Yon Hoon Recovery technique?
|
Yup she is. Which is why she is bewildered as to why Han Jee Han knows how to use it
|
New chapter is out but basically nothing happens =/
|
30 pages culminating in poong sae young fan service/clobbering an ogre... I'd almost rather the series became monthly than the author having to make up meaningless fluff chapters.
|
So true. Though i like how the chapter gave us more of them interacting, i'd wish there was at least a small bit of plot development. Either in his abilities, strength or their relationship/friendship.

bump
2 chapters since last bump
+ Show Spoiler +Can't wait til next week to see what the new skills do. Also, it would be awesome if he learnt that book with high int req from the start.
He's going full INT route, like a boss! I would do the same thing, probably. xD

I'm kind of hoping he pumps WIS a bit as well and does physical training (without putting his points in it). I think that would make him a lot more OP than full Int and they did hint that physical training was a way to get powerful without leveling up.

The best part about dumping into a solo stat is that you're the creator of the universe and can purposely make it OP as hell.

I think that would make him a lot more OP than full Int and they did hint that physical training was a way to get powerful without leveling up. Almost fully called it, haha. Just the single point of trained WIS instead of stat dumping into it, though. And I think everyone knows about making ridiculous game characters when you dump it all into one stat instead of being balanced. Specializing often has good payoffs. Lul at the exploit hunting. Maybe eventually he'll find a way to clip out of bounds. Might want a teleport skill before that in case he can't clip back in though, haha.
Still, he runs around all day (maybe a bit longer - hyperbolic time chamber and all that) and gets a whole 12 VIT? Dayum. Slightly curious if there is some nigh free INT/WIS/CHA points to gain if he can figure out a way to grind mental stats. He did say it's unlikely he can grind INT easily at this point, but most of his INT gain is from stat dumping rather than the way he got his recent VIT boost... so who knows.

He won some INT point by studying a while back. And since he had no vit, it's obvious that he would win a lot of points early, that's how it works generally.

Why is he running without having mana shield on and summoning the elemental? I thought the purpose of getting all that mana is to have it on all day while e.g. physically training. It feels like a waste otherwise.
|
what about that skill book that required him to have a lot of int to learn?
|
since he is a glass cannon, I think he needs some life leeching skills.

Well, he does have that life leech spell he got off the first Zombie boss he killed. Seems kinda suspect that he's never used it 'til now. I half wonder if it's gonna turn out to be some amazing ability that'll make him feel like an idiot for not using it sooner.
Also, I'm suddenly reminded of how some games (RPGs) have an 'aoe' toggle for spells that are usually single target. Be funny if he found something like that while fiddling around with his 'options' menu one day.
In any case, larger health buffers are never bad.
