The official Japanese Pokémon website as well as their official Twitter account have announced the voice actors for the upcoming OVA special Pocket Monsters THE ORIGIN (ポケットモンスター THE ORIGIN). I'd like pokemon to incorporate a few Animal Crossing ideas to increase its replay value. | ||

Leech seed does 1/16 dmg every turn, giving half back to you. Toxic does poison dmg, but scales up every turn. After only a few turns it does enormous dmg. In RBY, there was a bit of a bug. If you used Leech Seed, then Toxic, the Leech Seed dmg would scale up too. Seriously fucking OP. | ||

Maybe it was intended and not a bug? Speculating here. Interesting to see Naruto's actor voicing the main voice in this OVA. Other than that I've always had a soft spot for the underdogs, bug and poison pokemon in particular. The games are easy enough as it is, and making your team full of dragon types and legendaries just makes it boring. | ||
