I forgot about the singing... I take it back. It can get a lot worse than episode one. I'm just imagining the new Yedi Knight singing a song with the force spirits of Yoda, Obi-Wan and Luke as background singers. | ||

I want to see stuff about the past though, I've never really liked the post Episode 6 material. I would be delightful if they make something about Darth Bane and the creation of the Order of the Rule of Two. | ||

Shatterpoints was quite good aswell, it was a book about Mace Windu. The Cestus Deception is probably my favourite, it explores how individually thinking a Clone can actually be. Also: Star Wars Episode 3 by Matthew Stover gives a great background look at what isn't shown in the movie but happening in the background. | ||

I love Star Wars but I think a lot of people are under the illusion it isn't a family movie, it's 'adult'... that's just plain wrong. This is the perfect way to keep and preserve the Star Wars legacy and maybe we can give a chance to a new generation to fall in love with their own story. Anyway, the 400 episode TV series and 3 more movies can only be a good thing. | ||

Ideally I'd want Stover to write the script and Disney to produce it because after looking at Shatterpoints and Sith and the elegant way both were written, I think Stover writing any number of SW episodes would be freaking amazing work. Hopefully Disney sticks some good writers in there. | ||

Perhaps the best option is to start fresh without adapting any story and just tip toe between whats already written without violating already established cannon.. The big question will be, which era should they do? I'd go for the New Jedi Order where Luke takes on kind of a Yoda role among the Jedi but central characters are Katarn and/or Vos. I feel these are the most interesting developments of the SW universe, as the Jedi come to realize that they can get married and that they can use dark force powers without flipping over to the dark side. I know it wont make everyone happy because some SW fans are strongly against these new developments, but personally I think its good storytelling and moves the whole Jedi ideology forward. | ||
