Same. Although the last 2 episodes were a bit better and included actual lawyering.
Yeah it's sad when we consider two 30-second "negotiations" and one 60-second court scene to be lawyering on this show lol. I want a full episode with Harvey and Mike (or anyone, quite frankly) figuring out a case from start to finish and going back and forth with dealing with new information until it's resolved. Season 1 level stuff, please!
Next episode is with Travis Tanner again, so I think we'll see more actual lawyering!
+ Show Spoiler +In before Tanner comes just to sleep with Louis's sister. jk.

The entire first 7 episodes of season 4 were 2 long legal cases of the firm vs SEC and Harvey vs Mike on the merger. Both sides went back and forth doing lawyering and doing there thing. The only difference between it and season 1 was that it had less of a "villain of the week" style and more of a prolonged battle style of case which I typically enjoy more.

Agreed.
Also, Suits was on a few hours ago ^^;; I was out so I'll catch up on it tomorrow hopefully.

TANNER IS BACK BABY.
I wish they made a spinoff just for Tanner.

I'm so sick of Harvey, he's like a stubborn child with this therapist. I can understand why opening up can be hard for someone like him, but come the fuck on, it's getting really annoying. I think he's walked away three times now saying he's done with that woman, but keeps coming back? Come the fuck on.. Also, isn't being part of a good lawyer also knowing what's going on in your clients and the other party's mind so you can think a few steps ahead (or that's what they try to perceive in this show at least), then why the hell is Harvey acting like such a twelve year old? God this dude is starting to suck balls as a character..

I just broke down and giggled when she concluded that harvey has mommy issues. It's like the writers ignored about 100 years of psychology, and decided that making a hot version of Freud was a good idea.

To be fair, that sounds like a fantastic idea.
Also, this is Suits. Everyone is a hot version of normal people.

During the therapy scene, I zoned out of their conversation and started looking at the therapist's (home?) office decor and paint color. Then I was wondering if I'd like that gray, or the blue in Jessica's office.
Boring. What was the "case" about? They were in the courtroom for about 112 seconds.... I guess that counts for something.
10pm mudding huh?

Travis Tanner is a changed man
Can Harvey do the same?!?!?!
|
God I love Jessica. Hot, smart, badass...I dunno why everyone goes apeshit over Donna when we have her on the screen
|
"Just like old times."
Finally, Suits A case! <3
|
This past week's superlatives:
Louis: Luckiest (mudding with Donna and Rachel!) Jessica: Most badass Mike: Most level-headed Harvey: Most in denial
I like the psychiatrist.
|
i bet the psychiatrist and harvey gonna bang

I hope not, as I feel that would undermine her level of intelligence and her grasp on the sessions. More often than not, she's been in charge of the conversations with Harvey, and it would suck if she arbitrarily got wooed by him.
Suits tonight!

God damn it... Not this Hardman bs again....
|
i completely forgot to watch after the second episode. is it worth picking it up or is it the same drama still?
|
theres still drama but the show has gone back to its roots as well. they are following the old 1 case per episode style while keeping a longer backstory going on as well. kinda like a mixture of season 1 and 3

I reeeeally liked this last episode!
-Louis and Mike working well together. -Louis not being petty. -Jessica getting Louis's back and talking to Jack. -Rachel working with Harvey. -Harvey finally about to talk about his mother to his therapist. -Donna being Donna to help out Mike and Rachel. -Donna and black Donna Gretchen becoming friends.
It's too bad that Harvey threw his therapist under the bus during that deposition, and Jack's connection to Hardman seems a little random (maybe it's because they both have beards?), but I'm really happy that everyone did some lawyering, and I'm excited for next week!

I mean is it all that surprising that Hardman would still be bitter over how his last battle ended and would be looking for any opportunity to get back at Jessica and also smart enough to know how to work the rules of the firm to make Jessica look bad. I was only surprised that he held himself back for this long since once the merger fell thru in season 3 she had no more leverage on him.
