As for Louis, it's nice to see that he's finally getting some character development.

She didn't come from a privileged background, and the reason why she cares so much about her career is because she overcame sexism and racism to get to where she is now. In fact, over the last 2-3 episodes, she's even talked about her hard-earned path to success- and what she had to go through- several times.

Her character probably engages in a lot of other things besides the scenes we see in the show. Her valuation of her career is justified and also helps stand as a role model for minority groups. Also she's good at what she does. My problem is that rich people make me salty lolol

Harvey had a reputation of being a womanizer, sure he doesn't date married woman but it doesn't mean he's serious in all of his relationships. Facts are: - Harvey has a reputation - He made a promise with Louis that he would not hook up with Esther but did it anyway - Esther was seen upset/near tears after she spoke with Harvey that night That's reasonably enough for Louis to jump into the conclusion that Harvey hooked up with her for shits and giggles and ditched her afterwards. Being a(n) (over)protective brother, it only made sense that he confront Harvey and wanted to beat the shit out of him. You could say that he shouldn't have picked a fight that you can't win, but I find it more manly that he did, rather than trying to get back at Harvey via some backstabbing shits that he did previously (which I think he might end up doing in future episodes anyway) I am not disagreeing with why he baited the fight (though Harvey is right he is her brother not her boyfriend) but at the end of the day he did bait it so whining about how the fight turned out makes me not take his side. If people wanted Harvey to take the punch then Louis should have thrown one instead of baiting Harvey to hit him then go whining when he loses the fight.

Even Esther pointed out the whole "You're my brother, not my boyfriend" overprotective comment! But Louis didn't bait the fight. He was angry and threw the first punch, but he didn't opportunistically plan ahead of time to trick Harvey into hitting him. The latter is baiting, not the former.

I just rewatched the scene to make sure. Louis comes in pissed and starts yelling at Harvey threatens to beat up Harvey then starts saying stuff specifically aimed at getting Harvey to punch him (which has worked before when Tanner did it) thus baiting the fight, then when Harvey punches him Louis charges at him Harvey basically ducks out of the way and he goes thru his table.

Yeah I just rewatched it for more clarity. The difference is that Tanner just sits back and smugly launches insults and explicitly baits Harvey, whereas in this case, Louis came in and shoved Harvey. Louis said "What you're about to do is get your ass kicked" and pushes Harvey, which is the first physical contact. Then you're right that Louis gets Harvey to punch him by talking shit, and then after that Louis lunges at Harvey and Harvey dodges and throws him into the table. So there's really no way that Louis could claim that Harvey started it (either verbally or physically). I'm sure Harvey feels guilty about the whole thing, but Louis started the altercation.

+ Show Spoiler + they turned Louis from a raging bull into a good and forgiving friend and then again into a vindictive ass ... which is pretty much his character anyway but i feel the emotion swing was a bit drastic throughout 1 episode

I'm particularly interested in Jack and Hardman's situation though... Jack clearly doesn't want to be tied to him anymore, so I wonder if those two packages he received are going to be used to blackmail him into helping Hardman out. Also, Jack calling Hardman's office from his own office inside the firm? Wouldn't that be a red light to Jessica?
